I'm new to Toyota, so I'm trying to get the low down on the the following options.

    1) Has anyone purchased the block heater for their 22 Tundra? Where is the outlet?

    2) What the heck is Comfort+ worth it, or do you just remote start the car? From What I am seeing, the Comfort+Complete is a trickle charger, some kind of cabin heater and a block heater where through (another app, yay) you can warm the cabin and turn on the block heater on a schedule. I used to just do an analog timer for the block heater so what I am wondering is: is that cabin heater worth the extra cost? The trickle charge is useless as a) I have one already and b) It doesn't stand long enough to warrant one.

    3) Talk to me about this spare lock? Is it like a lug nut wheel lock type thing? In Canada it costs about $115 CAD so I'm trying to figure out if it's worth or if I can source it elsewhere for cheaper.

    4) Bed cleats. How many came with the truck? Where can I buy them for cheaper?

    5) Can the bed extender be used with the OEM bed mat and a hard tonneau? Is it permanently attached or can it be taken out in seconds? Is it a no-drill install? Do I lose any tie down points by installing it?

    Thanks everyone.

The block heater is integrated into the front bumper, looks like it’s just below the fog light

I think it comes with 4 cleats for the bed rail system, but not sure if that is a model specific or even a Canadian specific thing

I agree with your assessment of the comfort plus thing. I believe it’s an electric cabin heating system so you don’t need to run your truck to warm it up inside - if garage parked etc I presume is the target audience. Hence the trickle charger so it doesn’t drain the battery.

Probably going into more details than you wanted, but I'm long winded. hahaha

    4) You get 4 cleats at delivery (or you should). Mine were in a plastic bag under the back seat. They weren't anything that I paid extra for, even though you can buy them separately as an OEM accessory directly from Toyota. I'm pretty sure all trucks with the bed rail system come with a set from the factory.

4a) You can make your own very cheap from parts on Amazon...if you need more cleats or if your truck doesn't come with them. I made my own for my old Taco because my truck had the rails but didn't come with cleats. You can buy aluminum blocks with stainless fasteners and combine with any type of D-shackle (like the pic below). I made 4 of them for the price that Toyota was charging for 1 cleat back in the day.

    5) You can use the bed extender with the OEM cover. Just note that you'll have to flip up cover partially in order to "swing" the bed extender out. The extender mounts using the same bolt holes for the 2 tie-downs nearest to your tailgate. It's an easy "bolt on" install. You can also take the extender off very easy by tilting it up and sliding it out of it's mount. It can't be removed when the tailgate is closed & locked to prevent theft.
