They really are a nice looking headlight. And the amber DRLs look fantastic on your black Tundie!

Did you have a chance to use them in the dark? The main beams are a very nice upgrade from halogen. The highbeams are extremely impressive.

    Enjoy!

Looks good!!! Are you still able to retain your headlight height adjustment with these? I’ve been thinking about upgrading to morimoto. Thanks.

Oh wow. Thanks for the reply. Love the look on MPG_LOL black 2012. Should look just as good on my black 2012. Sorry for copy catting soon. Haha.

Black 2012's are clearly the best, and the Morimotos only serve to widen the gap.

Im trying to figure out if I want to add this to the front grill... What do y'all think?? Also, perhaps wrapping the chrome front grill black??

I love the honey comb grill. Looks better than your original grill. And yes it wouldn’t hurt to wrap the chrome surround. Would definitely look good on your truck even without wrapping the surround. Do it!! Haha

13 DC with Morimoto and Sequoia Pro Grill. Also have the Morimoto fog lights. Not sure if they were in when I took this picture.
I love the way the body lines/details in the hood come down into the grill unlike most Tundra grills.Grill 11.jpg Grill 12.jpg

New grille will update the front-end even more. I personally like the chrome surround the way it is, but all black may be better for you since you've color matched the bumper.

It does look pretty good the way it is huh?? The above poster with the sequoia grill looks pretty darn good as well!!

Seems to be a small gap under that Sequoia grill tho right?

Yes there is a gap. The Sequoia bumper cover is different than the Tundra cover. You can't really see it on a black truck.
There is a thread on this mod. Some guys use black weather stripping/seal to cover the gap.

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/2020-sequoia-trd-pro-grill-conversion.55533/

Read this thread a lot good advice and tips.

I ordered it a while back. Not sure if price increased. Sparksparts.com
I ordered Attitude Black instead of 202 black paint code version.

    PT363-0C200-BL Sequoia TRD Pro Grille - 218 Attitude/Midnight Black Metallic $339.65

53111-0C240-C0 Grille Molding $59.87 - This is a two piece unit. Think this is the top piece.

Order extra grill clips. Ones on your truck will break when you remove the top piece.
90167-50063 Fog Lamp Assembly Screw $0.58 4 $2.32 - You need this screw to put this grill on a Tundra.
    75819-33010 Side Molding Retainer Clip $1.74 10 $17.40
    53191-0C010 Grille Assembly Retainer $1.10 4 $4.40

    There is also this grill.
Sport Grille Assembly - Color Keyed - Custom (53100-0C240)

I attached a good diagram for removing the grill from an 07 - 09.
    • MSRP:$271.17
    • Discount:$75.55 (27.90% off)
    • Sale Price:$195.62
      Description:

Add the new color keyed Grill Assembly as featured on the 2010+ Tundra Sport Package. Please note that these come shipped to us from the Manufacturer with the paint rubbed off in the bottom corners due to packaging issues. We inspect the grilles to ensure that there is no other damage, repackage them properly and then ship them out. This can easily be painted over with touch up paint from your local dealer which retails for about $10.00. Unfortunately we are not able to ship paint. Contact us with any further questions.

Yeah i can see your point there... I think I am just going to keep mine stock or perhaps do the Sequoia grill. I appreciate your input. I do like the white surround you did. Is that wrapped or painted?

Do you think the Attitude black should be good for my 2012 black?? I think this is the route I am going to go... So basically all that quoted above is what i would need to successfully get this on? Thank you!!

I like the 218 Attitude Black grill on my 13 DC. My truck is 202 Classic Black like yours. It goes well with the paint in my opinion. It is only a little shade different really. But It looks bright and shiny like a grill should to me. Each his own. Some people want everything to match. I want the grill and other items to slightly stand out.

Yep. It’s a loaded Platinum. Has about 182K on the clock, but runs like new
