hey do you know if you can rewind live fm radio like you can to an extent in the stock models? I’m looking at that head unit myself. I think new models are around the corner however..

 

this is the mod I want more than anything I have seen on this site, it should have came first before any of my other mods. Does this void the warranty?? I need to know how to do this

(I get the concept, but as I saw another commenter ask, is there a harness? Which switch pod..)

 

Spring break activities, new: drilled/slotted rotors, ceramic pads, steel braided brake lines, rims(20/10/-19), tires(35/12.5/20), Dura coated tires, Dura nano coated rims

 

So I've seen a harness for the rear window but haven't seen anything for the other buttons, when I wired mine I removed the pins from the plug then removed the pins from the wires then solder the new 20 gauge wire to that, ran the new wire the correct distance then put the pins back on the wires and then pins back in the switch. I tried my best finding both male and female version of the plug but didn't have any luck.

Just out of curiosity does exterior include head/fog light bulbs as well?

Ok that does it!! So I scuff, prime, coat and clear? No prime? No clear? Krylon for plastic?

 

Get the VHT plastic paint. I used the silver as a base for the blue but sprayed it straight to the engine cover after I thoroughly cleaned. I used rustoleum gloss clear at the end but you definitely want the VHT high heat paint on the plastic since the engine gets hot.

 

Spring training special delivery:

 

Removed chrome bump and grill surround and installed color matched. Probably one of the easiest mods I have done so far!!

 

Took mine to the range.

 

AJT goodies came in. Started with the key, used one of my non OEM keys, unfortunately they are shaped differently, I had to grind down the key to make it fit, its pretty solid but I'm not 100% comfortable with it, I may throw in some epoxy to fill in the gaps and make it a little more solid.

Got the long RAM arms, to my surprise they are metal rather than plastic. The length is perfect.

I just private message someone here that said they were interested in my seat jackers. If I don’t here from him by tomorrow they will be posted for sale. I have said this before and others have said I’m only 5’5 and when I removed the driver side and sat back in the seat I felt much better without them. Everyone is different and feels much different for others.

 

Went with the Pro mats, I like the rubber texture vs thermo plastic. Plus 5100s center position ready for AT3s 275/65 20 next week. They'll mount on the fresh powder'd Platinum wheels

303 Graphene Nano Spray coating is done…happy with results, pretty simple to use. Getting ready to do FRAC mod, paint calipers, 3 switch panel and moving some switches inside…that’s another weekend.
