Haven't been able to work since 2015. Had back surgery in Nov 2020 that made it possible again. Started working a full time job June 2021. Filed my taxes in Feb using standard deduction with nothing extra, and I'm being audited with a $11k income for 2021.

 

I don't litter, but I would not hesitate to throw my mask out the window in front of the CDC.

 

Haven't seen that here yet. Traffic is mostly backed up because whoever timed the lights apparently thinks it's more important for people to be able to get out of their neighbourhoods than for traffic on the main arteries to flow so the lights will turn red one after the other rather than all at the same time.

 

The same monkey programs the lights in GP. I swear on the grave of John Moses Browning, if I ever meet that monkey I'm gonna punch him right in the nose.

 

It's also the reason I run red lights when turning left (fresh red, oncoming traffic hasn't moved yet). Asshole thing to do? Yes. But I'm fed up being stuck at lights because of other assholes.

Does two assholes make a right? I dunno, but nobody drives worth a shit around here anyway, and at least I move my ass out and get on down the road unlike most of these other fucktards.

I think half of them want to get stopped / sit at the light so they can check their facebook or whatever. Fine, but Get your ass off the road if you want to do that shit!!!

People around here are terrible about that. And what may be worse is the second or third vehicle in a left turn line giving 50 yards between their vehicle and the one ahead of them, again screwing those further behind in line.

Yeah, that's ridiculous. When the light is short and traffic is backed up due to a train near the intersection, I make sure to hit the gas hard and get through the intersection right on the tail of the guy in front of me to avoid holding anyone else up.

 

This instantly infuriates me, lol. Had it happen only a few times. When it does happen I'm yelling, "What the actual hell is this idiot talking about?!" If I was in that much of a hurry I wouldn't have stopped for the light at all/would just run it. Clearly they need to save their pregnant wife who's in labor from their home which is on fire at this point....

You REALLY want to mess with people: when there are two same directional lanes and you're first up to the stop bar sitting next to someone texting- when the light turns green just don't go. They'll wait there forever until someone finally honks.

When somebody sends me an email and pings me with the same question at the same time. Especially when it isn't urgent. I've been dealing with some weak project manager lately because the business analyst on his project avoids me at all costs. This bastard pings me and we have a quick discussion where his concerns are answered. Then I look to my email and notice he emailed the same question to me at the same time and CCd a bunch of bosses. So now I have to answer it again so all those bosses don't think I left him hanging.

I was tempted to paste our chat to the email and say here's the answer, but instead I told him don't ping me if you emailed me. Trying to be polite on a Friday afternoon. He read it but didn't respond, that irritated me more.

 

If he's playing dirty tagging a bunch of bosses, don't pull the punches. Point out his ineptitude for all to see. He's trying to throw you under the bus, and it is perfectly acceptable to Uno Reverse his ass under both axles.

 

Around here, people seem to get a short dick about being passed, so sometimes I like to play a game I call "how fast can I make this fucker go?" It's easy. When you get up on their rear 1/4 panel, they'll speed up. All you have to do is gradually increase speed and they'll try to half wheel you. Keep pushing until they get scared and back off.

It has to be gentle, if you mash the gas they'll back off, but if you ease into it they'll keep increasing their speed. I've pushed a few to 65 in a 40. Most back out around 55. Not had anyone go to 70 yet. I typically only play this game during my daily commute when I'm the right mood.

 

I've done that, with time stamps and everything.
And politeness goes out the window Friday afternoon. You've had all week to fester up this question why come at me with it on Friday afternoon?!

 

When people who shouldn't install toilets install toilets. I replaced one for a friend today, the one I pulled was fawking glued to the tiles with some hard clear silicone, and they beaded well under the foot of the toilet. I had to get half of my razor under there to free it from the ground.

I've seen that several times, too, mainly in older houses. The worst I've seen was where they applied mortar from tiling. But you're exactly right.

 

I got lazy a few years ago and had a guy retile our guest bath. After he left I noticed he caulked around the base of the toilet. It looks like a thin bead applied only on the outside. Hope I never have to pull it to find out whether it's also glued down underneath or not.
