What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I have to worry about some adjustments and the mounting of the top plate first. The instructions leave alot to be desired.

Are those sliders the trail or step version?

 

Just ordered a set of brake pads for the front and rear. No issues, and no idea how my current pads are looking but I’m at the brink of 60k so I figured I’d be proactive. Still have the factory pads, planning to take a closer look at them this weekend. At least I’ll have these ready when I need them.

Installed seat jackers going on a month or so. Hands down easy decision to recommend the purchase. They vastly improve comfort. I installed them in a ‘19 SR5 DC bench front seat.

 

Nice! Mine are the 2.0s, so threaded/adjustable vs the clip settings on yours. They are a nice setup for the $, certainly an upgrade.

Got the plug for the oval hole in the front of the bed. Still have no idea how I managed to lose it in the 1st place. Parts guy said "there are 2, one of em is $3 the other is $8", of course my truck wants the $8 part, par for the course.... Damn you scarlet!!!

Which pads did you order?

 

When I installed the stage 2 VLED taillight conversion the other day I was a bit rushed, so today I went back and sealed up the connections with the supplied heat shrink and dielectric grease.

I made sure to slap each one and say “she ain’t going nowhere.”

 

Then on to a nice cold step 2

 

I bought this delicious sounding porter to try the other week and then I had to go and get sick with the virus my son brought home from daycare. I can't wait until I'm 100% again so I can try some. Drinking beer and hacking up a lung with a sore throat sounds less than appealing.

 

Honestly after only a couple short drives, I’m not a fan so far. I’m short at 5’7, and these make the seat feel like my feet are dangling. I can see where they would be awesome for tall folks, but at least for me, they seem to cause more discomfort. Truth be told I never had a problem with the way the seats were, I just wanted to try them after the good reviews here.

 

I’m about 5’6 and know what you mean. I might be removing my driver side. And keeping the passenger in. I needed my passenger seat higher because of my audio amp the track was touching it and this lifted it away and made the seat more comfortable for the wife.

 

If either @nhw544 or @RusPro21 get ready to sell yours, I might be interested in buying. I put a set in my '98 Taco and they worked great...but I am 6,1".

 

I will probably take you up on that. Let me get them out and I’ll PM you.

Installed the Rough Country 40" LED light strip in the hood bulge. Trying this out to see if I want to actually add a light bar.
Looks good for accent lighting.

Bought and had the dealership install the black lug nuts.

 

Installed Ecoological hood bulge and grill surround (finally hit 65 degrees out for the tape to hold!). Luckily black is a very forgiving color as I just ordered the gloss black instead of the color match and can’t even tell the difference. Next is the bumper ends…

Actually, I ordered OEM. This truck has the best braking of any vehicle I’ve ever owned, and I figure if I can get 60k out of them once, they’ll do it again.

 

305/70r18 with 1.25 Spidertrax and a 4" lift.

 

I finally did my brakes for the 1st time at 76k, I replaced with oem myself.
