    I've come back

I've realized there's another thing that really pisses me off: Laughing shit off thinking it'll just blow over.
Pair that with one-word responses [only applies when you need to answer with more than a word] and you'll have my blood boiling

Example from just the other day:
ME: did you answer the message from Bill from last week yet?
HIM: . . . (stays fucken quiet) No.
    ME: Why, exactly?
    HIM: Forgot. *heheh...*
    :annoyed::rant:

I promise I'm not a cranky guy in person!

Been doing restaurant repair 25Ish years. So much worse post covid labor shortage, half my fast food customers can't even staff to open the dinning room every day much less hire someone to pull and clean the behind equipment.

Being the only person in this town who's apparently capable of driving. Drove for 10 minutes and nearly got killed 3 times.

Seeing my neighbors pre runner just sit there.

I haven't got to talk to him, he's never outside. It has the Camburg race kit, the one with beefy spindles and Wildwood brakes. Rear is runs trailing arms and the cab/motor are caged. It won't pass smog for some reason and he pulled the shocks about a year ago. It's been parked for 2 years, but it does run.

She’s doing her job, and having a backup should there be a NCNS for their client. She’s offering it should you want it. It’s three hours before, which is better than last minute so someone can earn the cash.

When I try to support a smaller vendor but learn that they're either completely trash with handling business or they're just a scam artist like some vendors we've all seen in the past.

Not a Toyota vendor or one that is related to this forum. I ordered a set of headlights for my GTI 12/15 and their site said "in stock with 3 week processing time"(it still says that). I took that as a backlog and expected to see some headlights 6 weeks later. After 6 weeks I started checking by email and got the expected "we're pushing batches out weekly, hopefully this week" a few times. It's now been just shy of 90 days since I ordered. I keep seeing them post photos on Instagram of lights being built to ship out.

I had enough and called, left a message to cancel and refund me. Also sent an email with the same message. Now to see how long that takes.

I called a different vendor who charges about $90 more, they said they ship direct and the expected turn time lately is 4 weeks. I can live with that, hopefully it's true.

When my wife gets ice cream and mixes flavors that should never go together.

She will do things like get a scoop of coffee and a scoop of cotton candy, or a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of lemon. Yesterday we picked up ice cream, one tub of praline with sweetened pecans and another tub of pineapple coconut. She just handed me a cup of both.

Call me an ice cream segregationist if you will, but I don't like when its mixed unless it really works.

Praline pecan and pineapple coconut doesn't sound half bad. Coffee and cotton candy, that's a pass as coffee is disgusting.

    Left over burritos.

Its up there with Nachos in the food category of "its only good once". You can't just throw a left over burrito in the microwave to bring it back to life. Once it slept in a fridge the tortilla gets all wet, you can't open it without destroying it. You've got guac, maybe sour cream, definitely salsa and some veggies that shouldn't be heated up. It's a losing battle and ends up being a pile of crap in a bowl.

If I get a fast food burrito, I eat the whole thing then. If I make burritos at home, the ingredients stay in separate bowls until I'm ready to eat them.

Yes, this is the thinking man's game.

My left over is from El Pollo Loco, my wife didn't finish it.

Something about microwaved cilantro sends messages to my brain to not eat it. It's like when I was a kid and tried to drink the OJ that was in the back of the fridge too long and turned fizzy. These days they sell that crap and call it kombucha, when I was a kid we just called it rotten but we still drank it.
