What a mess. I hate ordering parts for this reason.

44250-0C010 shows no longer available on Serra.

    upload_2022-3-15_10-38-27.jpg

44250-0C041 does not vit my VIN-priced at $380.

44240-0C021 does vit my vin but says rack and pinion housing. $353.

$40 shy of free shipping for Serra Toyota. What other parts do I "need"?

Oil filters are only $2.80 on here.

I was just about to post up about center bearing and u-joints. Is the general consensus to go OEM as with the LBJ's or are the aftermarket options equivalent or better in this case? Big price difference lol

Is Serra the new online dealer for orders? That mean cool springs and McGregor No hood anymore? I’ve been using the dealer parts program from my local dealer recently.

Just figured I’d post here and do a small introduction as I’m new here. I’m Colin, I live in Montana with my wife and 3 dogs. We love the outdoors and checking out new places in our Toyotas I actually drive a 05 GX 470 and my wife drives the tundra but I work on the truck so it’s kinda mine too. I look forward to being apart of the community! Here’s my tundra in question

I think you forgot to post your question? haha

Also, welcome! I found this forum when i bought my truck 3 years ago and love the wealth of information and help everybody contributes here.

Edit: I misread your "tundra in question" statement as having a tundra question, haha. Nevermind my first statement

Serra has two dealerships. I usually use Serra Toyota of Decatur, Eric has been pretty solid, but both Decatur AL and the Birmingham AL dealerships give the same discount through their parts site, offer zero tax sales, and free shipping over $75. Those are the big money-saver perks, just the lack of tax alone shaves off, what, 6-7%?

I personally prefer the personalized attention Roman @ Cool Springs offered, but I don't think you can order from them anymore directly, I heard they moved it all to Facebook or something? I dunno, I missed that wagon. While they weren't available, I found Serra.

McGregor or McGeorge or whatever ... they have two different parts pages, each one has different discounts, but they charge tax, and I'd heard others were paying a lot for shipping, so ... I dunno. You pick whatever you want, I'm sticking w/Serra of Decatur myself.

    Radiator cap?
    Gas cap?
The cowl clips that tend to leak? (you really only need one, there's 6 or 8 total: 9008018055)

Any plastics messed up around the exterior or plastic interior parts like climate control knobs, maybe your tag light assemblies?

I ended up getting gas caps for both vehicles, air filters, oil filters and some crush washers for the Rav4. How the hell are cabin air filters way more than an engine air filter?
Anyways, great sale and you have to love the free shipping.

Another trick you may consider that I turn to often, is to cut a slot in the bolt with a dremel or whatever works for you. Then use the largest flathead/slotted driver tip possible with a cordless impact, just make sure that you push hard into it so it doesn’t slip, and don’t use a cheap china made tip that’ll break off. Even if the bolt was snapped off flush, you can still cut into it with a small dremel disc. I’ll even overcut a bit into the casing to get a deeper slot. The deeper the better. Of course you still want to soak it with penetrant prior to this. Also, cutting the slot into the bolt heats it up for ya, (bonus) so be ready with the impact.

There was some sort of thing with them not doing online parts ordering for awhile but @Roman has been back on the site for a little while.

Anyone get ahold of DAP Tuning this year? Ive been calling daily and emailed 3 times and no answers at all. I'm starting to lose some hope. I'm really interested in his 4.7 tune, and have my spare ECU ready to ship to him.

    Time for a little refresh.

My spray paint is going on 6 years now. Clear coat is donezo. Going to go with a wrap this time around. Will also throw a coat of paint on the rack and call it good.

Camping weather is arriving finally!!! Got to get out a few times before baby #2 arrives end of May…

If the sale is still going on, Serra had them for a great deal when I looked Monday. Free shipping over $75 too and somehow no sales tax.
