Hey guys, just sharing the news on these new front strut options from Dobinsons for the Toyota Tundra 2000 to 2006 and Toyota Sequoia 2001 to 2007. These same struts are also used on the 1998-2004 Tacoma and 1996 to 2002 4Runner.

    • Fully rebuildable and re-valvable
    • Zero shock fade in all terrains with full load
    • Direct, bolt-on replacement for easy fitment
    • IFP – Internal Floating Piston, separates oil and nitrogen
    • Corrosion resistant (EDP Surface Protection)
    • Heavy duty single piece lower leg
    • Enormous oil capacity
    • Heavy Duty 3 Stage FKM HNBR Sealing System for the ultimate in reliability
    • Race inspired hi-flow CNC 6061 Billet alloy piston – for the ultimate in offroad handling
    • 56mm/2.2” Bodied Series – 50mm hi-flow CNC 6061 Billet alloy piston – 50mm bore – Vehicle specific fitment
    • Full 2 year limited warranty, no set rebuild time period
    • Instructions for setting coil seat height
    • Struts only, sold as a pair – the coils are sold separately
    • Uses stock configuration coils - flat ground top and pigtail bottom - recommended to run with Dobinsons lifted coils
    • NOTE: Due to the extended length (down travel) of these struts, aftermarket UCA’s are REQUIRED to be run with these for proper suspension travel
These are longer than the regular Dobinsons GS59-222 struts.
18.62" extended and 13.19" compressed lengths

Photos from @recomr who recently added them to his Tundra. He has some tuning of the lift height to be done and more weight to be added to bring the ride height down to the correct level.

Yes, as long as you use the C59-344 coils with the IMS

Yes, you can use OE, or any other coil that uses the OE top and bottom coil end configuration (flat top, pigtail bottom).

Only reason I ask is the heavy coils are on back order.

how do these compare to say icons, or kings?

I'm not sure if Icon or Kings are making a non-resi version. As far as performance goes, the IMS stand up extremely well against Icon and Kings in most vehicle platforms, and the seal system the IMS is definitely superior, as we almost never have any seal issues, unlike the regular rebuild period that other brands seem to have, because their seals fail so often.
