What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Got the same head unit. I really like it!

 

Moved it 20ft. in the driveway to let the snow melt off. Winter almost over, excited to take the Tundra on MTB trips soon!

 

Mostly a pain in the ass Tacoma roof rack mounting day, but the Tundra did get washed.

 

You guys are so dangerous for my wallet......but i love it.

 

Did you get the 5k or 6k?

 

I like the look. Is that where the airbag deploys from though? Wouldn't want someone to get hit with those if the bags do go off.

Edit: Just did some research, the airbag comes out from the top of the dash, so no problem there .

I went 5k

 

Gave the truck a bath and tried an Adam’s polish spray on graphene ceramic coating, figured it was worth a shot to see how well it works, before summer hits. After it cures will be the real test to see how it beads etc.

The kit with the blacklight? My neighbor did it on his last truck and really loved it. It worked well and did good for an at home kit.

 

I didn’t get the black light kit as I have a black light, but yah you’re suppose to able to shine one to see any missed places etc.

 

Did you get the power fold option? Do they have puddle lights? Thanks.

 

I'm sure it was 2 different dealerships, one installed when new and then the dealership I got it used from installed one too. Its pretty common in the west, our SD division installed 20k+ security and GPS systems a month.

Chrome delete progressing... was going to do matte black but my buddy at the paint supply store said it would be hard to maintain (dirt/grease) Retrax Pro XR came in too.

 

I did not get the power fold option and they do have it. I got a SR5 so I don't have them from the factory. No puddle lights, but you can get reverse lights high or low powered!

 

Oh ok. Yeah been lookin at em. Buddy and me are gonna pull the trigger on power folding and we both have trucks that didn't come with. Will probably add puddle lights to them

 

Would be cool to have the power fold option but I spent $600 on mine without and I believe the power fold Option is another $350 if I'm not mistaken, so that's pretty much 1k for mirrors..... And I thought $600 was expensive lol.

 

You are not wrong. We added puddles to the OEM tow mirrors I have now and I haven't upgraded in forever so it's time. Feedback looks good on these especially when it comes to technical customer svc

 

Swapped out the chrome TSS wheels for a set of Limited take-offs. Stock suspension w/ 275/60r20's.

 

How do you like the bedrug? I am thinking about getting one...
