    Hello There,

I am reaching out dealers today for ordering 2022 Tundra TRD PRO, so far only one dealer replied and told me that they can’t accept special order anymore, they will have a inventory list next Wed and let me know if they can get the PRO.
I am wondering if anyone here has put the order for PRO and anyone getting MSRP, and what will be the delivery timeframe? Thanks a lot!

Best bet is to shoot for the 2023 model year. Will be here before you know it.

Dealerships only get so many allocations depending on sales. They don’t know what they will get, but can trade with other dealerships on their allocations. I put a deposit down last summer and no word on when they will get one. I assume if you don’t have a deposit on a 2022, you will be looking at 2023.

Saw a 22 TRD pro driving around town in SoCal last night. had Texas paper plates. Drove past us at dinner in hybrid mode, the orange/ red color looks really good.

Man I wish I could see one in person. I’m from NorCal, I’m hoping we can get one from Texas and drive back. Road trip + new truck breaking in sounds a pretty great deal to me

Could this have been one of the pre-production models? My understanding is there aren’t any production hybrids on the road yet.

I put in for an allocation at one of the supposed MSRP dealers in the bay area. That was back in September before the official reveal. At the time, I saw their deposit spreadsheet with about 3 or 4 names and highlighted saying their dealer allocation for the TRD Pro Tundra had already been filled. So, I don't know if that allocation note meant for 1 or all 4. Idealistically I am hoping for Spring or Summer. Realistically I would not be surprised if it was not till 2023/next year.

The dealer would be OneToyota in Oakland.
New Toyota and Used Vehicle Dealership (onetoyota.com)

I had read a Mercury News article a few weeks back noting how other dealers try to buy from OneToyota at MSRP with the intention of turning around and selling them with mark ups on their respective lots. So I think its a safe bet to wait on a Pro from them.

My general thinking especially in these times, is that Pro variants rarely get discounted even when times were good. I am not looking to modify this thing beyond adding bed accessories, so if I can swing one at MSRP, that would be acceptable.

I placed my “order” October 1st through Longo Toyota in CA and still haven’t received a allocation so it’s definitely a waiting game. I don’t honestly see it being done till May or June. I check auto trader but everyone wants 8,000 to 10k markup so I’m just gonna wait it out. Not a pro though just a limited.

I have a really good relationship with the sales manager at my local dealer. He has got me a 21 Land Cruiser Heritage, 21 TRD Pro, 22' GR86, and had me an allocation for a 22' Limited but I decided to wait for the TRD Pro. He actually bought the Lunar Rock Limited I had ordered and let me drive it and I immediately loved it and said to put my name on the list for the TRD Pro.

He has my name on "the list" near the top and apparently ordered on 2/9 as he texted me what interior color I wanted on my White truck.

I have no idea on delivery date yet, and even being the sales manager it seems he has very little insider info. They show up in his system as incoming when they get a build date, VIN, and other key steps but I have been searching the internet over the last few days and get no real clue on when Toyota is expecting to start production. Would love to hear if anyone has some information. They have just said "spring 2022" for a while, but you know how production goes right now.

I've had my name on a list since August. End of January the dealer called me to ask for my colour preference, it's been nothing since then.

I'm in Canada and Toyota Canada's website barely even acknowledges that the iForce Max or TRD Pros exist aside from a few pictures with the standard "Available Spring". No 'Build and Price', specs, trim comparisons, nor even colours for TRD Pro trucks listed for us. What really makes the wait worse though is the algorithm I'm stuck in that has Toyota Canada advertising the TRD Pro to me multiple times per day. Like a carrot and a stick.

Toyota is implementing a new program called Toyota ETA, it'll allow customer and dealer to see where their car/truck is in the progress of the order, kinda like what Porsche does.

Toyota Canada is pretty bad on keeping information up to date, but I think first shipment is around June, colors should be same as in the US, White, Black, Solar octane and Lunar Rock, I'm also pretty sure they are going to stick with 84,xxx for MSRP.

Thanks for the info, that would be a great program to implement. Would Toyota Canada be implementing this too?

Do you mind if I ask where you got your information about shipments for Canada? June would be fantastic, but I want to be cautiously optimistic rather than getting my hopes up.

Toyota Canada may be couple months behind, but last I heard Toyota USA is going to make this program live by end of May/mid June.

I have a 1794 order submitted, but it's delayed a few months now. Supposedly the TRD Pros are tentatively available to order the middle of next month for me so I might just cancel the 1794 and swap to the TRD Pro if the price is right and there isn't the delay. I've seen the red and grey in person so far and they look really nice. Hard to decide between the two trims for me though.

Hello everyone, started calling around and got put on the list for allocations when they become available for the pro. I dont mind waiting the possible 1 year plus. In your opinion, is the TRD Pro worth the extra 10k over a Limited TRD Off Road?

Everyone that has ordered a Pro: "Yes"

Everyone that hasn't ordered a Pro: "No" or " Yes, but I don't want to spend that much/have different plans/needs for my truck".

That pretty much answers it for me. When I bought my '17 I was not financially in a position to afford a Pro, but I found a dealer that is only requiring $500 deposit to be on the list. They did say it could be up to a year but I dont mind waiting. That will also let me build up my cash down for the truck.

Does anyone know if the TRD Pro comes with a lift from the factory or if they'll offer it at all?

That's a good color combo for only 1 allocation.
