    This my baby, 2016 SR5 4x4 MGM. Cant help but smile when I look at her. she's a beut. Did the LED interior lights already. next is the chrome delete. I'm thinking the Anthracite gray for the front grill n bulge and all bumper caps, flat black for the rest of the chrome around. ?? whatchya'll thank?

    I PD’d all my chrome at one point, anthracite for the hood bulge and surround and all the bumper caps. My experience wasn’t great, but part of that might be AZ’s extreme heat and UV. It’s really best to just bite the bullet and get color matched components, at least for the grille and bulge, if nothing else. I bed linered my bumper caps, but those are beat to hell now, lol.

    I used something other than plastidip, like a Krylon version or something, on my grill (see my avatar) back in 2016. I'm just now starting to see a few tiny spots of chrome showing through where rocks or something have hit it. So it lasts quite a while if you do prep well and doesn't cost much... gives you time to save for something else or go a different direction in a few years.

    i did the same thing with mine.. I can’t afford what I really want to do so I took the PD route and it’s “okay” after a year here in FL but I’d rather have covers
