Just picked this up off of Craigslist. 2009 Nash 22H. 24’ overall length and 4480# dry. Pulled nice on the way home. 65-70, 9 mpg.

84 sunlite sky hawk, fully restored with lots of goodies, tundra hauls it just fine but mpgs definitely take a hit. May upgrade to a travel trailer eventually but like the ability to go just about anywhere with it.

Dropped the GeoPro G20BHS off for some service/maintenance. Such an easy trailer to pull.

    Nice choice, Jtundra81!

We love our GeoPro but it's definitely made for a family of 4. It would not have worked for us if we had 3 kids.

I really love those trailers and we're looking at them a while back..... How "off the grid" capable are they truely? Is the solar system it comes with enough to truely power the trailer if you are running heat or ac and you keep the electronics within reason?

I can go for a day off grid without much concern for power, maybe two. Any more than that and I'd want a supplemental solar panel. I haven't used the furnace just on battery power so I am not sure how quickly that would go through your available power. AC will only work when plugged in to shore power.

We are super happy with it. Fantastic quality and the amount of features these have is just incredible. They are not big, so for us camping is still about being outside, but having our own bathroom and everyone having a comfy bed. We've had so much fun with it. I highly recommend them.

Sounds good! How is the mattress for the adults and bunks? Had to replace or add anything to them to make them comfortable?

We all find it to be very comfortable. The mattress for us is good but it's a standard size, so we can easily upgrade it to a new mattress if we need. For the kids, their bunk mattresses are not nearly as thick but the kids don't mind them. I've had to sleep in the bunks once and it's okay for an adult, but I wouldn't want to do that a lot. But again, the kids love the bunks. They're basically private forts for the kids. I just bought them cot sheets and my MIL made them each a thick, heavy quilt.

I would honestly be hard pressed to say anything negative about the trailer. I could say I'd like some counter space in the kitchenette, but we mainly cook outside or we just use the dinette table for food prep. The shower is "adequate" but that's typical of RV showers. It does the trick.

Here is the list of what we required in a trailer, and this model of GeoPro ticked all of the boxes:

    • Bunks for the kids
    • Fixed bed for the adults (I didn't want to make a dinette down to a bed each night)
    • Dry bath with a sink
    • Dinette that could seat 4
    • An oven in the kitchen (surprisingly, we use the oven all the time)
    • Outdoor shower
    • Black water flush valve
We wanted all of this in a fairly small/tight package so it would be easy to tow and easy to find suitable camping spots.

How you liking the GD21bhe? I think that's going to be my next trailer when I upgrade from mine. I don't want a slide out or a door at the bunks so my choices are very limited as they all seem to have doors at the bunks now.

Didn’t get the chance to try it this year , however , the fit and finish on trailer is great .
That is exactly the reason why I got this trailer , it is roomy enough without the slide which is perfect , less headaches and maintenance add that is perfect size for the tundra

I bought this truck with the intent on trading it in for a 2022 Tundra with significantly better payload, but the new model has underwhelmed me so it looks like I'll be going 3/4 ton instead. Probably RAM. I'll miss Toyota's reliability but I really like this camper and I need to drive it safely.IMG_0323.jpg

So many people with Tundras haul way more weight that you are... full time even. I'm not sure what you are experiencing that seems unsafe, but I'm 99.9% sure you can fix it with minimal effort and cost.

Love that camper, BTW... those look like very good rigs. Wish I'd bought a Summit back when they were cheap... $65k in 2016, including the tray and outfitting!

Agreed this is the perfect size, i currently have a 20' bunkhouse but looking for just a little bit bigger now that we have a second kid. I'm going to watch them for a little while as they have jumped up in price with everything that's going on. Hopefully things stabilize and prices will get back in line.

Our setup is a Keystone Outback 250RS. Not a bad rig... could use a little freshening up and a new awning. But it gets the job done.
