    Hello,

I just got my second '06 Limited and this one came with the factory DVD player located right smack dab in the middle of the center storage console cubby box. I find the center lower storage very helpful in the other truck and wish the new one didn't have it.

I can see the bolts that hold the whole center console in, but all I want to take out is the DVD player as it chops up the storage space in half.

Looking around in there with a flashlight I could not find any screws to remove it, it almost looks like the plastic holder snaps in. Has anyone removed theirs and can offer some pointers please? Thank you.

    Thank you.

If your 06 is like my 04, the holder indeed pops in and once removed, you should see 3 bolts holding DVD player in place, IIRC. My go to tool is an assortment of auto trim tools picked up at most any auto parts or online @ fleabay or Amzon !
