Any update on pricing for the rear plate add-on for the 2wd? Thanks.

Not yet, I don’t have the new design for the 4x4 ready either. Hang in there, it is coming

It hasn't been that bad where I am, either. But I live very close to a very popular mountain biking/hiking spot, and about a month ago, someone's Sequoia got hit where everyone parks. Apparently it happened on a weekend morning when it was crazy busy with lots of foot/bike traffic. I ordered my plates the next day.

Honestly, @Classy63 is really a top notch person and business owner. I had my cats cut off a two nights ago and placed the order immediately. I've been a mess since then but the customer service and advice he's given me since then has made comfortable in waiting for the newest version to come out. To anyone on the fence about these products. Just do it as I was literally in this sub looking at these the day before they cut mine off.

I wasn't happy with the bolt installed from the bottom, so I flipped the bolt direction to install from the top. Thanks to 1794TX for the tips. Holding the washer up and pointing the bolt head toward the passenger headlight did the trick. **Joy!**

Just got off my ass in ordered a set of steel. We were at a wedding last night and all I did was worry about the stupid cats getting stolen. There has been an average of one cat stolen every day where we live and I consider us a small town. WTF is wrong with the world ?!?!?

Question for the people who have painted the plates themselves. Did you use a high temp paint or do they not get that hot?

@Classy63 , any update on this order (R318832697)? I know FedEx can be slow, but couldn't imagine coming from Houston to the Fort Worth area would be too challenging for them, but who knows. I have a multi-state trip coming up and this would be helpful for planning purposes. Much appreciated!

I live in an *actual* small town (population of maybe 1K or so), and while there have been no thefts here that I'm aware of, there have been in towns not even 15 or so minutes away. I mean, I wouldn't kill yourself with the stress, but by the same token, to me, it's like insurance. Granted, the probability of me getting my cats stolen may be small...but the cost if they are stolen to replace w/OEM is one HELL of a lot higher than the cat plates, so it's worth it to invest in them. :)

I had a customer’s plates arrive at the hub in Arizona, then it went to North Dakota and back to Arizona…

@Classy63. Tyler, have you given any more thought to a gas tank skid? My thought is more for drilling protection than offroading. I don't think the existing options provide much drilling protection on sides near bottom of the tank. With gas prices going up, our 38 gallon tanks are likely to be a tempting target...

With the gas prices skyrocketing, this might have some merit, I would just need to make sure there is enough interest. The BDS adapter has been underwhelming even though a lot of people seemed interested

For what it's worth, I'm still game on the BDS adapter, but have been waiting for v3 rear plate before pulling the trigger.

I used spray-on rustoleum bedliner. It’s pretty tough stuff, adheres well and super easy to touch up. I haven’t noticed any funky smells and just see the heat as another method of curing the paint.

I painted my steel plates with regular rustoleum satin black (or equivalent, it wasn't the 99 cent no-name brand from Lowe's but it was the 2nd cheapest). SO far I don't think it has had any damage due to heat. I don't think they get super hot. After the fact I was thinking I could have used a higher temp paint, but I think I am OK with regular.

3 blocks down the street from me there's a late model Tundra that sits on the street every night. I worry about his cats for him, every time I go by there lol. Mine stays in my garage, but I'm still going to order a full set of plates. There have been a few cat thefts in our small town.

Forgive me as I know this has been answered multiple times already but if I have the TRD skid plate, do I just need to order the rear plate? Or do I still need both plates? And will it bolt up the TRD skid?
