Do the bed extender brackets have a quick release feature that allows you to disconnect the extender, flip it around, and insert it in the brackets again inward into the bed without having to rotate it upward to lift out of the brackets?

This was an optional feature on my aftermarket F150 extender that was a necessity to make it compatible with my tonneau cover rails. Curious if the Toyota extender also has a way to make it compatible for install in the inward position.

I really like how integrated the OEM cover looks. If you have a moment, would you mind taking a photo of how the drainage is ran? I have the BAKFlip MX-whatever on my 2.5 gen and hated how they suggested you run the drain. Ended up bodging up my own way, but it still doesn't look great. Thanks!

Sorry photos were not mine. I stole them off facebook. My tonneau is still on order.

Anyone find good seat covers? Clazzio and Northwest don't have the '22 Tundra listed yet.

Yes, it just flips 180deg to sit inward or outward. If you lift it about 30deg it will simply pull out of the brackets if you want it removed completely. My wife leaves it flipped inward to keep groceries from careening all over the bed and I flip it out whenever I'm hauling bikes and cant close the tailgate.

Katzkin has the 22' Tundra! I'm gonna go that route once my bank account recovers from the wheels, tires and lift. I was quoted about $2,050 installed with black leather with red perforated insert and red stitching. I also ordered some off Amazon for $132 to get me by but they said fits 08-22 so I don't have high hopes that they'll actually fit right. They show up today so I'll post an update on fitment later this evening.

Thanks for the document. That sucks worse than what I had on my current truck. Maybe I can figure out something better.

C4 told me their parts wouldn't be available until May. FYI I'm working on developing a set of sliders with RSG offroad in Colorado currently. They'll be built off my truck then produced.

Did you notice a difference with the TRD filters? I'm throwing them in tomorrow.

Are they just OEM branded K&N filters?

I can report back when I pick them up in the morning but I believe they are. The parts guy at Toyota told me to just use the K&N cleaning kit for them. So if they aren't K&N branded, I'm sure they're pretty close.

Yeah, let me know. Thanks! I might order them or just go with a set of K&N filters whenever they hit the marketing. If they're the same then I guess the lower price point of the two will win out.

My plan is to run these until some more reputable companies come out with a proper intake system.

Idk if you've look at the frames but they definitely had to get creative on how they're mounting the sliders. Should be really sweet when it's all done.

Does any know if the TracRac TracONE universal truck rack work works with the new bed design. The area where you mount the c-clamps looks like it may not have the necessary space/lip to secure it. Thanks

Wow, on the bed extender no drilling required, correct? I had to drill when installed one on my tacoma.

No Drilling. Brackets install behind cargo brackets just inside the gate on either side. Five minutes to install

Didn't notice a thing to be honest. If I close my eyes and really concentrate, turn the radio off, roll the windows up, no kids in the back then maybe, just maybe I could.

I don't think I've ever really noticed a difference with a K&N (or any "high performance" air filter) on any vehicle. Despite all of their marketing claims. I've usually put them in for their "green" factor because they're reusable. Maybe...just maybe I've saved a tiny bit of money after having my K&N filter for 9+ years in my 4Runner by cleaning & reusing it vs buying a new air filter each time. To be honest, best case scenario, I'm still probably far from breaking even. haha
