What have you done to your 1st gen Tundra today?

I just imagine the ARB popping seams on an air mattress for whatever reason and leaving me uncomfortable, it's not much slower to use the 12v pump.

I'd like to try it with my raft come river season though.

 

The single worked but just slow, it’s slow enough to not worry about popping something. A raft and a mattress is a lot of volume, so usually the compressor hasn’t built up much psi when it’s been running that long full out.

 

They are called rollbars. They were popular in the 70s and 80s. That one came out of an 80s GMC

 

Yeah, good points. That reminds me, I was able to make the switch mount you sent me work. Since you have the bench seat it doesn't work on mine even with the seat jackers. Got it where it's mounted to another bracket on the seat though and the switch moves when I move the seat forward.

Yeah, I tried fishing the wires underneath the carpet but I'm probably going to need to take the seat out for that.

No, I've actually noticed quite a few people here have them slightly off-level. Mine was like that since new.

 

I forgot to respond but that pic was taken with the front of the truck on jack stands. It’s not quite level side to side. Never noticed it the res was level or not.

 

Yeah, I confirmed the color is a bit too light. All 4 are absolutely brand new, too. But just like my OEM set, the fronts and tears rear are diffeeent shades of grey from one another AND they’re slightly too light compared to my stock carpet. Wonder if these are something you can dye, just hit 'em with a squirt bottle of Rit, maybe?

It’s not like I’m getting rid of my I’ll-fitting weathertekh mats up front or anything. But hell if I don’t want a brand new OEM color matched set on-hand in case I ever sell.

2005 DC TRD with leather interior, heated power seats, moon roof. 180k miles. RCD 6” suspension, 3” body lift. BFG 37 12.5 17, ion wheels, OME springs ,vinyl wrap from a local sign company. Roll bar with 6 daylighters. Front fabricated bull bar with 10k lb winch into a front receiver Gotta re gear it. I’d like to do an axle swap but I don’t think I have it in my budget.

 

Ordered some factory running boards today, was lucky enough to find a set of black ones as pictured. Probably over paid, at almost $300 shipped. In reality though, I was tired of looking for them and decided to pull the trigger.

 

I could fill a beach ball and not pop it with a shop compressor. But a regulator is not out of the question for an aux port. Not sure how much a reg decreases volume. I will probably carry my 12V, low pressure high volume. But that time it failed really sucked.

 

I'll gladly take notes if it ends up working for you.

I love these blower nozzles. They're how I clean out my bed and cab, no vacuum needed. My late grandpa's shop compressor could pop a bike tire tube. Little eight year old me was spooked.

 

Nah, I'm still going to take it. Let my dad decide which one he likes best.

Very disappointed with these new dyno numbers. But upon further reading on Dynojet vs Mustang dynos, I read that there is a big disparity between them and Dynojet reading higher. My last Dynojet run was 262 WHP. So these 234 WHP numbers are disappointing. Next I will re do a run at the DynoJet and see the differences once more. Then again with these Gas prices I may not be able to afford anymore dyno runs lol.

 

I think you got a better deal than you may realize, if they give you all the hardware and it included shipping as you mentioned. Just the OEM hardware would put you back a good $300.

They originally went for $400 new 20 years ago.

Send me a good chunk of pics of yours so I can see what shape they're in. I finally found a place south of town that says they have my spare wheel in stock and the guy said he thinks he has some OEM nerfs also, and would get back to me. Just nervous b/c he wasn't giving me a price on the wheel via text after he sent a pic.

 

I was looking them up on fleaBay when I 1st got my truck b/c I was contemplating swapping mine for the OEM tube nerfs. $500-600 shipped was the price I was finding on everything in white.

 

Ah - don't sweat it then. I'm closing in quickly over here, though it's really been a back-burner buy for me. Chances are I'll leave the ones on I have now.

I've got a chrome grille replacement on-hand and wanted to have the chrome nerfs on-hand too in case I wanted to switch my look up down the road. This is all shit I can toss in the basement or attic and save without creating too much clutter.

I'm working to declutter bigtime right now, and a lot of the excess has migrated to my shop in the basement. I sent Noah home with some of the excess. Offloaded a couple of mid-2015 stacked quad core MacBooks today, still have half a dozen of those left. All proceeds are going back into the truck fund.

 

You know better than me, but carry when doing "shifty" deals like that. I was IWB as soon as I dropped you off at the C-house.

 

I'm going to let my dad pick the set he wants on it. If he picks the nerf's, I'll store the one's I just bought until the truck is mine again. If he picks the one's I just ordered, you can have the nerfs if you want them.
