Just installed Nitto Ridge Grapplers 295/70R18
Rubbing issues, had to remove front flaps and front plastic liner
Don't like the way it looks so considering leveling kit.
    Cheers

Huh? Install a leveling kit? Your truck already sits perfectly level at 2" if its a TRD Pro. What don't you like about the look?

How is the ride quality? Looking to add the shims and +2 shackles. How was the install?

Install was pretty straight forward. For the shims you don't need to remove the shocks completely, just lower enough to get the shim on the top plate and slide back in. Removing the spare tire makes the shackle install a lot easier too. Ride quality is the same, maybe even a little better since the bigger shackles and new bushings help with the bed bounce.

Just saw that you're a '16. He has a +3 shackle option that might be better for you since you have the larger gas tank. This was the main reason for him producing a +3 to account for the extra weight. I'm a '15 with the 26 gallon so the +2 worked fine for me. I would call him and tell him what you are looking for and desired setup.

Thanks for the input. My main concern is pressing out the old bushing and pressing the new ones in. I saw a video/pic, cant remember which, that looked like he replaced the bushing in place with the front of the leaf still installed...was I seeing that right?

Yep that's how I did it too. You can rent a bearing press tool kit from Autozone or O'Reilly that will help you pop it out. Also a lot of lube and a ton of patience lol

BTW, yes I do have the '16 but I wont typically fill it up. 30-32 gallons in it on average...still trying to compensate for the holiday weight. Want it at level as much as possible. They are designing the +2.5 right!?

Yeah then +2s might be ok for you. I tow and haul quite a bit so I wanted a slight rake. I hate squatting. @ToyTec Lifts makes a bigger adjustable shackle which could be setup to be like a +2.5...

CB +2"s provide 1.25" of total lift.
CB +3"s provide 1.75" of total lift.

    Toytec adjustable - 1 - 1.5" of lift
