I’m curious if you could do a little test for me. See if the knives can interchange in the sheaths. I tried to make them exactly the same but since you already had the first one, I could not check, lol

Having a son with special needs may prevent me from passing any down.
However, I’ve had many passed down and many given.
It’s always a special moment and the reason most of us hold some blades so dear.

Rings true to me. My favorite knife is one for my son. 2nd, my brother. And, the sincere appreciation from others, is pretty nice.

Ray, they were both interchangeable. They were both snug. My bro didn’t even want me to hold the knife again, he said I will jinx his team, lol. I’m glad his very fond of it.
    Here’s some more pics.

Nice! I'm checking out this knife on Benchmade's site right now... and I'm a little confused by a couple of their dimensions they have listed for the knife.

    3.60≠8.64cm (3.60"=9.14cm)
    8.6"≠19.81 (8.6"=21.84cm)
    5.00"≠11.18cm (5.00"=12.7cm)
    0.60≠14.99mm (3.60"=9.14mm)

I am curious what dimension are the correct ones?

I’m in the process of finishing up a little knife right now. I’m also making my own sheaths now too.

Will you be carrying this one on a regular basis? I’m curious how you feel about it after 6 months. I’m a benchmade fan too.

Sorry I can’t help you, lol. I can say that I have seen incorrect dimensions frequently on many knives, though. This is not unusual!

I have a serated claymore that I carry daily. I've had it a little over a month and absolutely love. Its pretty light for its size and I like the shape and how comfortable it is in the hand.

Here she is after the etching. Total knife is about 4 7/8” long. Blade is 2 1/8”.

I’m afraid it’s a little bit too heavy for a neck knife. When I make the sheath, I will include both an eyelet for a neck loop and a belt loop so it can work either way.
    Now, the sheath……0DA1AA6E-43DB-4982-A0E5-102E8BD299B8.jpgB95A2BB3-2E96-4881-84DC-88024CD385B1.jpg030A3EB3-0A0B-42D6-952E-1C5E82FC8506.jpg36317FBF-8649-44D9-B9E7-22127834703B.jpg

That’s natural canvas micarta. Very tough and durable. Many people don’t like the look, some love it. I chose it for this knife because it needs it, lol

I am loving it. Its my first Benchmade and first auto. I have zero regrets and highly recommend it. For the size of blade it has, its an extremely light knife. Its my edc and I have no problem with it being in my pocket all day.

You will be hooked, I own 4 now - Grip, Barrage, Hunter and SOCP. Looking at the Claymore now. I just ordered another Glock, so I may have to wait (or sneak the Claymore in when the wife isn't looking).
