Had to try everything out for the first work day of the season. All good to go and the new truck is pulling as great as the old one, just without the squat. Ordered E rated 10 ply Defenders and taking the Open country At's off. I need smooth towing not looks.

 

Just got done installing new Bushwacker Extend A Flares.

I have the OG double standards on my Tacoma but am looking for options on my tundra.

 

How on earth were you able to get those? I’ve heard it’s damn near impossible to find those rims without a heritage LC.

Honestly I was researching buying them on a Thursday, and the next day I open up Facebook marketplace and first ad listed is a 40min old one for a set with tires, messaged them made a lower offer and they accepted, arranged pick up for the next day got off work and bam checked out perfect condition, I did notice today 1 tire had a partial nail in it, had discount patch while it was off, but they are 285/60/18s so I was selling them regardless.

but you are right they are hard to find with out a vin, unless you order a set from eBay but then they are around $700 each rim after tax.

All these posts about gas prices, hate to say it, but guess I was right. I called this over a year ago back in January 2021, well before they even started climbing, here's the proof.

Maybe after the posts of guys with motorcycles and my below prediction it's time to seriously consider going back to 2 wheels, lord knows I got the beard for it.

Thanks! Yes I love them. Tempted sometimes to grab some SCS or fuel wheels to change it up. I wish I could justify having 2 or 3 sets. I’m a wheel fanatic. It’s real sickness.

 

I am actually removing that one and just leaving the ones below the armrest. I will still keep this one as an option once the FS thread is created.

I was on the fence between leaving them black or painting. My local shop thats has done work for me in the past, said they would paint them and install them for $450 and pulled the trigger!
