Not too bad, mine showed up today finally. Does that include an alignment? I’m trying to get my buddy to help me do it before I try and go to the shop.

I just opened mine up and there aren’t any wires connected to either of the covers. Odd

Also be sure to check your local dealer as some of them are starting to get accessories available.

I went to mine a day after purchasing something from sparks and my parts guy was like “Just to let you know…if you find anything online we are gonna do a price match so let us know before you buy”

Sparks has great prices but shipping ain’t cheap so you might save yourself a few dollars if you make a phonecall/visit to your local Toyota parts department.

Appreciate it man. I'll call the dealer that sold me and ask how there availability is. I'm in a small town in the middle of the desert so they probably don't carry much in stock. At least I can try though

I did this if it is what your looking for. Black out kit and I purchased thru Sparks Toyota . PT 948-34223-02
They shipped pretty quick and had bit of a discount going. Best price I'd found while searching the inter webs. Local Toy dealer would not match. That boggle my mind, but whatever. I'll send my funds to a dealer who gives a goodish deal..

Package blacks out all the Chrome decals on the Double cab...

Are the TRD steps the best OEM bet for off-road? Not expecting insane trails but want minimal loss of clearance. P

Nothing really much out there yet for aftermarket yet but my truck finally comes in next week and I know the kids are going to need a boost up.

So found this on Amazon and it’s charges faster than the oem. Ran the cord in plastics. Came our decent. Pretty happy

Heavy mods this weekend. Pair of TRD filters, some AWM’s and bed extender. Treated myself to a 6 pack after that heavy work.

How do you like the filters? Probably get a little bit more spool noise when driving I assume?

Noticed no difference in sound or performance. Never really have from any air filters I’ve ever done on past vehicles. I’m sure there is “some difference” but my butt-o-meter isn’t finely calibrated enough. Ordered a JB4 tuner Saturday so I better feel something with that or I’m throwing the whole damn truck away lol.

I tuned my car from long ago and it was night and day. I'm hoping you get a major difference out of it also. as I would like to get it and have it awaken the truck up. would you have to get a tuner to tweak it with this system?

I've read every available thread thus far on em and while I'm not looking to go Raptor and TRX hunting, the reasonable HP bump is enough to keep me interested.

Perhaps I should have researched before ordering, but can anyone confirm if the OEM hard tonneau cover is compatible with the factory rail tie down system?

+60 hp (if to be believed) added to 389? not including added torque? I think it's def worth it

It is, saw a fb post earlier this morning so i saved the pictures. Looks like everything mounts above the factory c-channel rails. I'm looking to install the oem tonneau too.

I know there is the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, but won't a tune void the warranty on the power train? When I was truck hunting before I got my 22 Tundra I was looking at the TRX, but after a quick cost analysis of what it would cost me to just drive every year I decided to pass lol.

It does they don’t come with directions there’s a Set on here I actually printed off. You actually remove the rails install the covers rails and then install the accessory rails on top of that. Pretty simple.

The Raptor and TRX have all the cool hot rod sh!t we'd all love to party with but at the end of the day they're both still a Dodge and a Ford which is destined to become a problem. Even with teething pains the 22 is having it's definitely going to be a much better truck, in every metric in both the short and long term. I'll take coming up short in the HP wars to keep 80%+ of my resale value should I ever need it down the road.

If you zoom in and look closely you will see the factory rails below the Tonneau rails (held together by those machine colored brackets if you will).

It all works together very well

A search of the forum is always helpful too.

Check out the install instruction thread on the Forum. The instructions show you how to the OEM Tri-Fold Cover relocates the existing bed rail system using the included mounting brackets.

Link to the instructions thread: https://www.tundras.com/threads/oem-bed-cover-install-instructions-downloadable.100722/#post-2664578

On a side note: If you end up getting the cover, be sure to download these instructions since OEM accessories rarely include any type of installation instructions. Toyota assumes you're going to have a dealer install the option for you. haha

On the extender. I just picked one up with no instructions or template. I don’t see a ready made spot or slot at first glance. Where did you bolt in the two brackets? Appreciate any info as you’ll save me a little head scratching when I get back to it.

Added the new 2022 front Weathertech floor liners yesterday. They won't look this nice for long!

Where are the rear liners, Weathertech?
