    Hi all-

So picked up my Platinum with suspension pckg yesterday and drove it only 50 miles or so. Question on the ride quality. Are others noticing the rear end hitting rubber bump stops alot? Roads were a little rough but nothing i ever noticed on other vehicles i drive.
Ride reminds me of a GX470 i had a while back where rear end bounced and hit the stops. Wondering if i have a setting set incorrectly? I tried normal, eco, sport and sport+ modes with no change.

Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated. Will post pics later.

Do a quick search there’s people adjusting the AVS on the rear

Also make sure you try suspension on sport as for me interestingly feels better overall to me on some rough roads. You mention speed+ and the other settings but those are for power delivery and only two for suspension.
I will likely move the pivot bolt as done but others to see how it does.

I'm considering making the adjustment as well, it just seems to hit the bump-stops too easily, not enough clearance? My only concern with adjusting is that this is the same thing i tried doing on my previous vehicle (LX570) and had issues getting it to sit level, it was hard to adjust both left and right sides equally and it tended to sit lower on left side vs right.
I'd suggest marking the original spot on the adjustment bar with original settings prior to moving it so you can always reset it.

I’m in the same boat with the platinum AVS. I can’t believe Toyota released this truck with such a horrible suspension. They hit a home run with new power train and interior but suspension is way under par to the point it’s almost un-driveable. I’d like to level it with westcotts kit and throw on 35s but am skeptical about the ride quality being worse. https://youtu.be/npHmBe4Ef70

Can anyone with a platinum take a photo of their none AVS suspension? I’m talking to Westcott about whether their kits will fit a platinum suspension. Thanks.

I have the new 22 Tundra and I live where the roads aren’t the best and I find I’m bottoming out when driving over 30 miles an hour. Mine is a limited without the off road package. I traded a 2016 Tundra for the new one but as of now the 16 road better than the 22. Any ideas on how to fix or adjust the suspension?
