I almost gave up and then I got 2 more extensions and 4 more wobbles on; my little power ratchet wouldn’t break it so I got my 1.5’ ratchet and popped it loose; which scared me thinking it was the stud!

ARB rear diff breather in. Previously ran a line up between cab-bed and there was a bit of water in the line. Made sure to have a trap section but boy did that water smell bad lol.

Oh, had my 1st fill up after changing out all 4 O2 sensors in the hopes of improving MPG… down to 11 after switching them out. 15 before headers, 13 after and now 11 with the new sensors. City driving

Wow that’s amazing! I have JBA shorties, Magnaflow Cats, JBA Y-pipe to Gibson muffler.

I also have Dirty deeds fuel injectors and TRD air filter.

One thing I’ll say about my drive, it jumps with the slightest tap of the pedal but good god my MPG has gone to shit. When I say 11, that’s when I drive like a grandma. When I actually enjoy myself… 9!!! in city driving. Before testing recent fill up, I checked previous fill up, 9. 11 after driving slowly.

I don’t even get the MPG thing with a truck. Unless it’s 8. That gets expensive. Height and weight are like insurance to me. Life insurance.

It’s not necessarily the $$, it’s wanting it all. Peak performance with good MPG = bragging rights.

Well that’s fair. But performance and economy don’t seem to be bed fellows. Efficiency is what we want. But you still pay for performance regardless.

Here’s another way I think about bragging rights. 1/4 mile, dyno, torque, payload, towing, on/off road ability, and some style points or appearance. Win any of those and cost is part of the conversation, it’s not the headline.

Hunting for dark grey interior panels. As of now have found the dash locally, both front door panels (WITH LEATHER!) about 400 miles away (hopefully shippings cheap) a 2006 center console 500 miles away, and the kick panels. This will tidy up the interior ALOT if I can get all this soon. I’ll still need all the reg cab parts. But some of that is still out there new. The seats are next. The door panels truck has leather ones in charcoal. We’ll see what shipping is on them

the sill plates I’m debating bedlining. With a fine texture. But since they’re reg cab specific finding them will be a bitch. Bedlining it won’t look terrible because my carpets black

I admit though, the difference is phenomenal enough I've thought about re-upping all of the plastics. The flaps are darker than the tires now!
