Anyone remove or do anything interesting with their antiquated navigation screen? Mine has been turned off for years in favor of smart phone navigation apps when needed so just a silly blank screen front and center in the dash..

Yes, lots of people replace them with new radios that have apple carplay and android auto. Check out Kenwood, Pioneer, etc.

These fit the hole perfectly and plug into the connectors that are there.

Hows the audio quality of the unit? Does yours have carplay?

The audio quality is certainly much better than the stock unit. Even using the 1/8" headphone aux connection on the stock head unit was considerably worse than bluetooth with the new HU. The one slightly iffy thing is that the lowest volume setting is maybe a little high. I don't believe I bought the version with carplay, but it is available.

Dasaita. The model is just their Tundra radio.

If you enable android auto, then the home screen appearance will change a fair amount:

My son likes watching YouTube videos, so I will often leave it on the default loader and just stream youtube from there.
