Just wanted to share my experience. I was contemplating waiting on the 22 tundra - Limited TRD Off road package. In my area they are marked up 8-10k and really not available (Pre-sold)

Ended up driving away with a 21 Crewmax TRD Pro this past weekend. Not sure if I got the best deal but paid 60k for it with 12k miles. Most I've seen are selling 62ish-70k for 20-21's.

I traded my 20 tundra crewmax sr5 offroad 35k miles - the dealership gave me 50k for it. So all in all with the inflated prices I think I did pretty good?

    Congrats Op!

In all honesty don’t sweat over whether it’s a good deal or not…. If you are in love with the truck then who cares. Everything we buy at the moment is super inflated. It’s a terrible time to purchase any vehicle and these prices aren’t going anywhere for years to come. You can’t compare prices to even a year ago. Things have completely changed.

Drive that big blue beautiful truck and work to pay it off as soon as you can.

    Welcome!

I ended up going with White. My Wife has a 22 TRD Pro Sequoia in the Windchill pearl. Slightly different white but it was kinda cool to have an opportunity to match Trim's / colors somewhat lol.

I'll post some pictures side by side when the weather clears up a little - looks like today will be a good day for it.

Any reason for the 20 - 21 change other than just because?

Congratulations on your purchase! I was in the same boat in waiting for my allocated '22 Tundra, but over the weekend I found and bought a '20 Tundra TRD Pro. I have no buyers remorse in the decision and I do not have to worry about the reliability issues the new Tundra has been having. It's a solid truck that I can depend on for well over 300k miles.

Same. I got mine for the same price at the end of Dec 2020. It’s extremely rare to get any sort of a deal on a TRD Pro Tundra but you will hold your value unlike anything I have personally seen. It’s a great machine and you will love it.

I've always liked the Pro. I got a excellent deal on my 2020, traded a trd offroad Tacoma in on it so it was hard to pass up at the time. But the Pro was always the one I wanted. So it all worked out, I had originally planned on changing my grill, etc to the Pro so this also worked out better in the long run I think!

Yep. The sound of the V8 combined with the TRD dual exhaust - how could you ever go electric??

Congrats! Good choice, as time goes on I don't see the value of a 2.5 decreasing in the slightest, especially a pro.

I had a similar experience. I saw on my dealers website a 2021 Tundra and inquired about it and they said it was sold. I was bummed because I really wanted a 2021 model. Long story short, salesman convinced me on the 2022 and I was being put on the "preferred wait list". They said it could be months though. I had to go in and sign commitment papers for when a truck arrived that matched my specs and there she was being pulled in, a new 2021 Tundra TRD Pro just back from paint protection and interior protection with 12 miles on it. I immediately asked availability and they said it was available for MSRP ($55,600). We had already agreed on my trade in (2019 RAV4) price (within $1,000 of what I paid for it new) and I bought immediately. It is MGM and I love it. Talk about lucky.... I should have played the lottery....

I look forward to the upgrades, etc associated with this truck (already did the drivers side grab handle). I own a 2019 4Runner TRD Off-Road so I know the addiction to mods...
Mods so far: drivers side grab handle, blind spot mirrors, sill protectors, window tint, LineX bed liner, Undercover ArmorFlex tonneau cover and Talon cat protector.

Awesome luck and awesome truck! I got a 21 Pro late last year and love it.

How do you like the Undercover ArmorFlex? I've been around and around trying to figure out which cover to get. I'm kind of down to Armorflex, Lomax or Extang. Were you able to keep your bed rails in place with the armorflex, or does it have to be lowered with some sort of bracket?

Personally, I’d pay 10k for a truck that is several grades higher than mine, 1 year newer, and has 1/3 of the miles that mine had. Good deal, OP.
