…and you are absolutely sure that your service is working (are you subscribed?)?

when you go to the Toyota App scroll all the way to the bottom…then scroll right until you get to the “Connected Services Subscription” screen (right after the WiFi connect screen)

It should list the 4 services you can have, if you are subscribed and when that subscription expires.

If you don’t have a subscription for drive connect then I don’t think your navigation will work.

 

So without a subscription the Navigation system won't work?

 

I just purchased the truck, does Drive Connect come as a free trial? My Remote Connect and Safety connect are showing a free 1 year subscription?

Didnt work for me…I had to subscribe separately with the Drive Connect (no free trial for some models I think is what my salesman told me…whether that’s the whole truth or not).
…With Apple Carplay I don’t plan to keep the subscription going anyway since it’s pricey @$17 per month…just wanted to test it out.

I got the Safety and Remote connect on a free trial but not the Drive connect (WiFi connect was 1 month)

 

Dealer was explaining it to me at the dealership also. About subscriptions and just using CarPlay. Didn’t understand what he was talking about until I played with the system and got the same screen and going in circles. Then it clicked that’s what he’s talking about. You have to pay to use that Navi button. Otherwise just use your phone

 

Installed a RC tri-fold today. Very easy installation and fits great. Went through car wash and very little water leaking.

 

Has anyone who has ordered the Westcott Designs lift actually received it? I ordered mine on 1/12 and still haven't gotten shipping info...

 

Me neither. Ordered 2/12. No update yet.. website did mention they were 3 weeks out trying to keep up with demand.. but 1/12 is a long time.. anxiously waiting as well

 

Hoping it’s not much longer than 3 weeks. Just placed my order today as well. Has anyone received any quotes to get this installed? If so how much?

Has anyone started a list of known part numbers for 2022 accessories? I'm will to compile it if not. I installed the Toyota brand folding tonneau cover and added the side accessory rails in the bed. Super easy install and I did it alone. It would have been nice to have a second set of hands to pick up and place the cover, but not absolutely necessary. Part number below. You do not need to buy the bolts for the rails as they are already installed. I will note that the that the straps on the cover that hold it in the open position were both broken new out of the box. They are super weak looking and don't appear to be strong enough to hold back a rolled up towel, let alone a heavy folding cover. I'll get some pictures posted.

I was told by Brian over at Westcott to order in advance so I placed my order last week. Build date is 3/14 and I plan on taking it there for install.

They are working a quote for me on install as well as a couple other services. I think their labor rate is $125 an hour but that's a guess.

 

I went Temporary spacer left until fox releases coil overs 3 1/2 in the front on the sport with a 30 mm Dobson coil spacer in the rear 400 bucks. Installed

 

Update: just got tracking! Whoop whoop!

 

Shoot that sounds like their 45days out if you ordered 1/12.......

 

So I actually reached out and got some clarification… the biggest issue was the place that was anodizing all the components was extremely bag logged because of Covid issues. I think they’ll catch up on orders fairly quickly!

I'm selling a set of these for $200. I never installed them(I traded my SR5 for a Platinum). I am in the Dallas area in case anyone is interested. I purchased them from Sparks. Still in the box.

Well if anyone else is interested I still have them brand new in the box. I will even throw in the tailgate letters(also from Sparks) for free. I just want them out of my garage thus the low price.

 

Painted TRD skid plate went on today. Was kind of a PITA to install with the taco tunes cat shield. Girl in the install video on YouTube makes it look like a piece of cake though haha

 

Katzkin has the 22 Tundras listed on their website now for leather seat re-coverings. I've reached out for details on black/red covers for mine. I'll post what they say for pricing and stuff.

 

That painted skid plate looks really good. Care to share a shot with it on?
