Beautiful truck! Would love that with the 6.5' bed. Congrats on the new ride!

I hear ya. I’ve bought 20+ cars over the years and one of the first things I do when I begin research is look at the service manual. I was rather surprised to see the service so frequent. According to “the car care nut” on YouTube it’s not easy. Check out his videos if you haven’t. He’s going to post on of the procedure when he gets one in.
It’s quite a turnoff that it is needed every 2 years with my driving habits. Couple hours of labor and parts you’re looking at a 300-500 job the non DIY person.

Update. Minor TRD Grille Decals. Instead of paying 150 for a matte black Toyota emblem overlay, I settled for 10 layers of plasti dip.

I feel like the JBL is way better in the 22 compared to the 21. I’m a tech geek and love all the technology in the 22 rather than in the 21z

I’m pretty sure when it’s shipped to the dealer it’s set to the lowest position.

I thought the same thing but wanted to see what other Platinum owners had for height to compare. Any other owners able to measure?

So I just checked my truck and my platinum model does not have air suspension which to me is odd but I guess it’s an option per vehicle and doesn’t come standard

Anyone have any ideas on how to reduce the door vibration caused by the sound system in a base. I don’t have the upgraded JBL

Who would pay $150 for an small grille emblem overlay anyway? A can of satin black Krylon, a scotchbrite, and some quality 3m tape and for $12 it's a done deal.

It's insane what's going on out there with pricing on everything.

Looks good, I did mine in blue vinyl. I tried doing the chrome rear bumper pieces but I failed. I’ll be calling the dealer tomorrow to see if black is available

Is that a wrap? I can do many things, but vinyl is not one. For now anyway, YouTube will teach me the way. That almost looks like the Pro camo

I bought this one 4 days ago. 22 SR5 4x4 with Crewmax, convenience package, BSM mirrors, predator steps, paint protection film, spray in bed liner, black tailgate insert, and my favorite color. I’m in love with this truck. It’s a later build (January) so most of these aren’t having the wastegate issues I’m finding

I just picked mine up tonight! Had an anxious drive home from Logan UT waiting for the dreaded wastegate CEL. Everything is good so far! Love the truck! I had some difficulty setting up my phone with the infotainment system but I eventually got it. I hate Apple CarPlay so I just wanted simple Bluetooth and the hot spot and the truck wasn’t having it. Lol. I just need my Westcott kit to show up so I can get my Method wheels and 285/75 Duratrac tires on. 749B1759-AB11-4632-BFA8-A7F16CEA0AE8.jpgA9087A05-9E41-478F-92EA-746FBFC9C353.jpg32639576-501B-4F7D-8D10-B34134D2ECCD.jpg

i read the warranty/maintenance guide. It,goes,up to 120k miles and there is no mention of spark plug replacement at all.

usually the iridium spark plugs are good for at least 60k or was it 90k miles under harsh conditions. normal duty (meaning you do the services in a timely manner to keep the engine running optimally, namely no crap gas) will last around 120k.

Beautiful truck! Congratulations on your new ride. I’ve had a little worry about wastegate but it seems most of the truck affected were built in November. Mine was built in January, they’re thinking it was a bad batch of actuators. People act like it’s super widespread but apparently so far less than 3 percent of trucks. Enjoy your ride! It’s under warranty. It gets that issue then they’re gonna fix it. Let’s enjoy these new trucks we spent so much for. They’re beautiful trucks and they ride so nice

I couldn't find any combo on the website builder that did a limited with color matching like yours. You. Lucky. Mofo. Ha!
That should have been an option for all grades, at no extra cost!

Yeah I noticed that when I saw the truck in person. The Sticker doesn’t mention anything regarding painted fender arches. I also installed a Toyota Tonneau cover aswell. Very good quality and it looks great. Now time for some wheels lol
