Reminds me of an old Army joke.

A soldier takes a leak and doesn't wash his hands afterwards. A Marine notices this and says "We were taught in Basic to wash our hands after we go to the bathroom."

Soldier responds "We were taught in Basic not to pee on our hands."

Well, shit. That's the same as the Marine and the Soldier joke I just told. I need to read farther before I respond.

I’d really like to meet you and hang out, most sparkies I meet are…….. on a different spectrum of life.
I always had to write a pictoral wiring diagram for these double pole time clocks we used, for some reason one of the terminals was labeled N, guess what color wire almost always landed there……

I stopped in to look around. Very interesting, along 2 walls in refrigerator cabinets were brains for sale; carpenters brains-$18.00/lb, iron workers brains-$65.00/lb, electrician brains-$1.20/lb and so on…
But, on the 3rd wall was this security cabinet with many locks and 6” thick bullet proof glass, plus a couple security guards. The sign above said ‘welders brains-$4,600/oz. I had to ask the proprietor, ‘why?’
‘Do you know how many welders it takes to get a pound of brains?’ he said

Yep, that’s the one I used the punch line from. I figured it was older than dirt and everyone already knew the joke, lol

I don't think so. It was a yellowish/green fluid. We are just coming up on 85k though...

I hit a pretty big chunk of ice and packed snow yesterday that fell off a big rig in front of me

Can we still post about our day?

I'll give you the condensed version since there is no whining allowed.
This really is the condensed version, although it may not seem like it.

On the way to Natchitoches, I was 40 minutes away, the regen light comes on in my Kenworth.
I figure I'll get there and run a regen, that clears out the soot collected in the exhaust system canister, diesel smog/pollution BS.

I get there, swap trailers with my New Orleans meet man (he is running late because of Mardis Gras traffic), and the STOP ENGINE light comes on.
STOP ENGINE light usually means STOP THE ENGINE because it is going to shut down on it's own at any given moment.

Called my home hub automotive shop, long story but it took over an hour for a call back.
He said we are gonna wrecker you in (4 hours back to Dallas on a wrecker hook, probably 1 hour waiting on them to show up).
Called me back 30 minutes later saying he can't find a wrecker service.

He says 'you want to try to drive it back to Texas?'.
I asked 'won't the engine shut down?'.
He said no, it may slow down to 55 and do it's own regen while driving, but it won't shut down.
'Hell yes' I said, 'I'll drive it until it quits'.

Called my dispatch and told them I can't go thru Longview and swap a trailer, as well as take it to Arlington (both on my schedule).
I usually get off around 10:30 to 11:15.

The tractor never did slow down to 55mph.
It did have a power loss uphill, but I was pulling an empty trailer.
The STOP ENGINE light (as well as it's irritating warning beep) stopped an hour into Shreveport.
I made it back to Mesquite at 9:20 and actually got off over an hour early..

    4 more days and I'm off a week.
