Do it right, you build a steel building for a shop and just put a damn apartment in there to live in

 

This is what my FIL is tossing around doing. We've got plenty of room at the new place for him to do so.

 

We’ve talked about the same. My daylight basement is currently my woodshop, but if I build a shop and finish out the basement as an apartment, that’ll be where my MIL will probably end up

 

Local has to have at least a 100 mile radius… maybe even 110 to get Mo.

Much prefer a house with a garage attached, but who knows what the budget will allow. At this point, don't know what the future holds for my job either, so I'm reluctant to get into an expensive mortgage when I own the property and the shitbox double wide as it is. Don't want to be trailer trash forever, but might not have a choice.

 

Ranch house FTW. That's what I want. My property layout is kinds dumb though. Long and narrow.

Nice! Deets on the mini 4 wheeler? I’ve been looking for one for my kiddos! I’ve got the mini bike with training wheels for my son but my daughter is not keen on it so thought we might try a 4 wheeler.

It's a little Polaris outlaw 50, my girls love it! My 6 year old will probably be too big for it next year, I should start looking for the next size up this summer.

 

Sweet! I’ve been cruising Craigslist but they are so hard to find. I like that it’s Polaris and not the cheap Chinese knockoff.

 

I like that! Just showed my wife the Ranger 150 and she's on board.

 

If I had kids I would absolutely get them one of the two. Probably the RZR just to have a little more oomph to last longer as they grow, but that's me. Either one you can regulate the speed and geofence it so they can't take off.

I thought about that too but with our property and the chores my girls will no doubt be doing, the bed will definitely be needed!
It'll be a rare occasion we tow them anywhere, we are just a short ride away from multiple family members and the mountains.
