We decided to cut that from the plans. Not due to cost but the silliness of it all (for us). The wind out here blows pretty consistently. If you ever sit out there…pretty sure you would agree. Now the 70-95 mph winds we get at times does have me a little concerned.

Now for the areas that get warm without a cool breeze a ceiling fan is a necessity if you ask me. My buddy in TX has these big ol’ boys. Thing they were fanimation or something like that. 72” and they move some air!!!

Ha ha. That’s the way the electrical wire is routed on the plans I guess.

The lights aren't, just the circuit diagram. That's typical for how circuits are depicted - they aren't actually showing you how the wire is to be installed, but diagrammatically explaining how the circuit is connected.

LMAO. Yes. But it created the optical illusion that the lights were not aligned and that tingled my OCD.

This too, but aren't we all?

Don't know, It's two 14ft 2x12's I had help with the math. A little above avg. I will not use this even once a month on average so did not want to lose much floor space. I know not code but the pull down rated at 250 made my butt hole pucker each time I was 9 feet up above the concrete floor.

Been almost 9 Months since I started my living room/kitchen remodel, but I think I might be rounding third base. :) After opening up all the ceilings, and having my wife change her mind on paint colors three times, there might be a light at the end of the tunnel after all.

Shit Chinese copper used here in Early 2000's building these tract homes. Got a slab leak within one week of buying the house in 19. Couple weeks back, had a running toilet upstairs so I changed out the angle stop and internals, came back that night and garage was flooded from a pin hole that broke loose from shutting the water off and then back on. Bit the bullet on a repipe before I have another leak someone that actually causes damage in the house. I was lucky most of the water leaked down the stem wall and into garage and not kitchen floor. Didn't take pictures of the patches because who cares about a pic of wall - they did a nice job on patching but still needed to sand almost everywhere they textured to get it right.

i just started dabbling in fertilizing last year and seeing the color difference from my neighbors' yards made me come back again. hoping to one day go big in it, but i have so much on my plate right now it's just not feasible for me at this time. but throwing down a couple bags a year has made a difference. good luck with it. take before photos so you have a good reference back to it before you started.

I started painting a rental house for my special needs brother-in-law a week and a half ago. Finally finished it yesterday. When I asked if we could paint it, the landlord said she'd skip the deposit if we did. I ended up fixing some sheetrock, rewiring / replacing a light, and pulling out some crappy built in cabinets so it was a little more than I signed up for, but I want my brother-in-law to have a nice place. The house he's currently in was sold and the new landlord said she'd keep his rent at what he was paying and basically said he could stay there forever. Super nice lady.

Today, I starting replacing the power rack in my side porch exercise room. I knew I was buying a better rack than what I bought from Dick's Sporting Goods 5 years ago, but this thing is crazy. It's around 500lbs. I think the new pull-up bar weighs as much as my old rack. Anyways, I had to turn my area sideways because I wanted to do my exercises inside of the rack. Right now, I have to do a lot of my lifting outside of it.

Most of the time today was spent getting the boxes out of the entry way (Mrs. Bandito didn't like it stacked up there) and to the screened in porch.

    Old rack:
