All these pics got me excited to get mine delivered. I put in an order for a limited TRD OR with pano sunroof. Dealer got an allocation with everything I want except for the pano sunroof and with a build date of 3/24. Question is, do I go for it or keep waiting until I get the one I want? Those that have the pano sunroof, is it something you use all the time or is it something you could live without?

I have had 2 Tacomas with sunroofs and over the years I’ve owned them I doubt I ever opened them a total of 10 times. I don’t like the sun beating down on my head.

It makes it feel extremely open. I love mine. Never had a sunroof so maybe I’m just excited about it. 60k for a truck you should wait and get every option you want in my opinion. Good luck!!

I have a similar wishlist to yours (plus 6.5' bed). For what it's worth, as I've been watching trucks land, and keeping an eye on AutoTrader etc, I've only seen *one* truck with both the TRD OR and pano sunroof. It looks to be a rare beast. I'm on about 7 dealers' lists (and have been since first week of Jan), and I think I'll wait a couple more months for Limited, 6.5, TRD OR and sunroof.. and if nothing lands, I'll probably decide I don't need the sunroof.

As you probably know, we can't actually order what we want.. we just put in our wishlist and dealers tell us when they get something "close".

Since it is a long wait I would wait a little longer to get what you want.

Thanks for the input. I mean I will be spending $60k and I've been waiting for awhile, so I don't mind waiting a little bit longer to get what I want.

True. I have a 2000 tundra and I've been holding out to get a new truck for a very long time because I've been waiting for the Tundra to get a big makeover. I told myself that when I do upgrade I want to treat myself and get all the options I want. I mean I've only been waiting for a little over 17 years to get a new truck, what's a few more months?

Nice! I first wanted that exact model/ colour - then the price backed me down to a limited. Jealous in a good way!

Double check on the TRD wheel. Up here in Canada, my SR5 TRD off-road came with a TRD wheel and shifter but I’ve seen pictures of the same American truck without them. I personally think they add a nice touch to the interior so just double check on whatever truck you’re getting.2C3F67D4-A8DE-4AF9-B2E1-1CCE157299C7.jpg42D1D754-DCE7-4AF6-85DC-7B93229D393E.jpg

Yeah, my SR5 doesn’t have any of that. The shifter just says TRD and that’s it. I thought the interior you’re showing was for the PRO. Oh well

We didn’t get many option packages up here in the north, maybe in the states there is a package on the SR5 that comes with the same wheel and shifter. Does yours have the heated seats and steering wheel like mine?

Would someone post pics of the engine area by the spark plugs? I take delivery next month and am curious of how difficult it is going to be to change the plugs. The owners manual says they need to be changed every 40k miles. I’m a DIY guy - so generally curious at this point what I’m getting myself into.
