Suspension Question

What would be the best suspension I count put on a 17 CW 2WD without leveling or lifting the truck??? I'm looking for a smooth drive on Houston's terrible roads.

 

Will you be off roading in the future? Do you tow? What is your budget?

Thanks, I'm looking to spend around 1k for something that can give me a nice luxury ride on these rough city streets. No off roading.

Welcome to the forum. If you want a smoother ride having more tire and less rim will help greatly with that. Do you have any pics of your truck and current wheels and tire setup?

 

I recently traded this truck in for a 5.7L, but everything else is the same set up

 

It's a TSS with 20in wheels

 

@1UPPER Makes an excellent point. Increasing tire size and decreasing wheel size will definitely help improve the ride.

Rancho is a good option as well. It will replace the factory shock and retain the same spring. The RS Series has an adjustable dampening switch to change vehicle dynamics to suit your driving style.

It would be RS999758 in the front and RS999324 in the rear. This would be another option if you're looking to retain your ride height and wheel tire set up.

 

Houston's roads are terrible? Don't ever think of visiting Chicago or New York. You will need tractor tires for the roads around here.

 

@GNTundra, there is a reason I chose to go with 35s. I took your advice and went with the lift, tires and upgraded audio. Wait till my truck is done, sending you the bill.
