The owner of a “reputable” plumbing company in town, told my mom, without using a inspection camera or anything; that the age and area of her home were prone to cast iron mites that would eat thru the metal and cause cracks and that the entire house would need to be plumbed out to the street connection.

Man, spending a cold day by the fireplace with a warm beverage sounds like a good way to be today.

I’m retired and my commute is walking 20 yards from my front door to the shop where I get to play with knives and guns or build shit till I don’t want to, lol

That would be way too much hassle and paperwork for me.
I'm thankful every day I get off work that someone hasn't stolen the tailgate off the Tacoma in the employee parking lot.
Found out this week 7 more vehicles have had their cats stolen in that parking lot since the first of the year..
Been reports of stolen tailgates over the years.

The dealer didn't even give me the Tacoma keys, just the key fob, since it has a push-button start.
I can't lock the tailgate without the key.

Plus they are out of loaners, they would have to put me in an enterprise rental car if I fuKed this one up..
