Took advantage of the nice weather and changed the oil and cabin air filter. Installed the metal filter housing and fumoto valve.

 

Finally installed my white knuckle off-road sliders I picked up preowned

 

Damn this thread moves fast. I took advantage of a 60 degree day thinking I'd get my OEMAudio subs installed and the skid plate reinstalled. Didn't quite work out that way as it took me 6hrs to finish the subs (I had to rearrange the garage and do some other stuff so it wasn't just the subs). Looks like rain the rest of the week so the skid and 5 other projects will have to wait.

Before and after, and yes, I cleaned up the wire runs.

No electrical connection for the front doors? I was under the impression the inner door panel had to be removed in order to unplug the handles

 

I only bought the dual sub package hoping the added bass would help the sound. I'm not an audiophile, but even with the new subs the sound is just not where it should be. I think I'll be doing a new amp and speakers from James at Tech12volts.

 

Pop the grommet in the door jam right by the handle and loosen the screw in there and you're done.

 

Would they fit wider leafs? Like the RTX?

Saturday: Installed 3/1 LowRangeOffRoad level kit, 20x9 TSS Edition, 35x12.5x20 Cooper AT3 XLT, Spidertrax 1.25” Wheel Spacers.
Today: Installed front bumper spacers, good ol' 5/8-11 hex nuts. Still a little bit of rub in reverse, but it's tolerable.

 

Was able to use my Tepui in the wild this weekend. Also, finally got to use 4WD. I foresee more trips this summer!!!!

 

It does.

 

Took out the rear 12v outlet and got the NSV dual USB ports in. Ended up having to use a makeshift washer/spacer in order to get the USB as tight as I wanted. If you’re going to put one in, I’d recommend getting a 1/2”ish spacer that fits over the back side of the plug. Would make things easier.

 

Towed my buddies Discovery 2 to a Land Rover event in Maine called Winter Romp. It was a blast. And first time I've ever towed with the Tundra and I'm in shock how well it did. The discovery is a real beauty lol.

No wheel spacers on the truck. Location is BLM land in Firebaugh California.

 

Depends on your truck. 2020/2021 with smart key you will have electrical to contend with. He’s got a 2017.
