I dont think that's accurate. One of the service guys told me he has worked for Toyota for over 25 years, and these gaskets/seals were the "jankiest" he's ever seen.

The speaker rattle is ghetto. If toyota hasn’t come up with anything I’ll just pull the panel and work through myself. Which we shouldnt have to

I’m calling them every day until it’s fixed. I think I have 3 case #s and 2 service managers trying to figure out what to do. Will keep you posted.

hopefully there is an actual fix from toyota since this appears to be fairly common from what I have read.

Lol I demand justice. From what I gathered it's very common, and they're bustin ass to see that it's resolved. Time will tell.

    ya, keep us posted.

Im tracking numerous 2022 tundra issues to see if they are resolved before I even think of getting one. Looks like a have time since I cant even test drive one, lol.

also talking with a ford dealer right now about testing a F-150.

If my dream Tundra magically appears at the dealer lot I'll be checking door seals, body joins, everything.

I just bought my 2022 and the only thing on the entire truck that is off the the wind noise ar the top rear corners of the front doors starting at 50 mph. While driving I was able to reduce the noise by pushing on the soft rubber gasket that seals the window frame. I did a water test while parked and it doesn’t leak. This makes me wonder if there is an int/ext air pressure difference at speed. More testing with recirc and cabin-air fan to do.

2 days after I bought my 1794 I took it back to the dealership to document the wind noise. They have documented and submitted it along with my complaints about the outer window seals. That being said this truck is still considerably quieter than my 2017. I'm sure Toyota will iron out the seals w a TSB but lets not overreact, the truck is solid. Don't let it drive you to the bigger issues of Ford & GM.

Had my 2022 Tundra 2 weeks now and the wind noise is so bad it’s driven me to social media to try and diagnose. This is my 5th Toyota and 2nd Tundra and all I can say is I’m disappointed. I dropped $65k on a fully loaded truck and I can’t make a call above 40 mph or it’s drowned out by wind noise.

Took it to the dealer today and they were able to replicate the problem but said “it might just be normal.”

Would undo my purchase if I could…

Its embarrassing how this was missed, someone at Toyota should be fired for allowing this to go forward.

This is Not the Toyota Quality of old, not by a long shot. Only makes one wonder what else they decided to overlook.

Now everyone has to find tape colored to match and patch!!

Call Toyota and tell them the issue. They will give you a case number and assign someone to stay in contact with your dealer to hopefully troubleshoot the problem. Mine has not been resolved, but they are definitely trying. The noise is so bad.....

To be honest I'm not sure. I taped the entire passenger side including window and door seals and it made no difference. I can't isolate it.

It drives me crazy. It's so noticeable and obnoxious I'm seriously considering trading it in for something else. I refuse to drive with the radio blasting just to hide it. Come on Toyota, figure it out!

Lol, your like me , something like that is 100% deal breaker , it drives me crazy

Odd you can’t isolate it, it must be really loud and flooding the cab as to not be able to be pinpointed

oxlsu40 - Who do you call at Toyota? Corporate, local dealer, etc.? Is there a special department I should contact? Much appreciated.

Man, I can hear it in my truck but honestly I may be used to it or have the radio playing all the time. I don’t listen to my music loud either and it drowns out the noise. Either you guys have it real bad or more sensitive to it. I barely notice it now.

Just joined with the same issue. I see the group is building up and it is not great in this case .
Bought mine 2 months ago and from day 1 there is a serious wind noise starting above 40 mph. Coming from left and right. I thought it is me just finding something to complain about :), then we took it for a bit of the trip with kids and my wife said the same. This is loud !
I have too much going on to be going to the dealer asking and hoping. I shouldn't have it with almost $70k truck
Step away from trading. Just wanted to warn future byers

We had a cold front come last night here so it’s windy and when i drive mine today with the music not being loud I heard it On my driver side also. My wife took my truck to work a month ago and said she thought her door was open. It is quite noticeable now at higher speeds

All of you experiencing this need to contact corporate asap and make a case number. They are supposedly working on a fix for this, but the more cases that show up at their door should speed up the process.

Done. They’ve documented it but said she doesn’t see any thing in the computer about this being an issue. I told her I just want it documented and I will schedule something with my dealer when it becomes too much

Just picked mine up on 12MAR, and noticed the wind noise on the way home from the dealership. I am going to try to better isolate it. It seems to be coming more from the forward/lower area. Hopefully there will be a fix and a TSB issued on this.
