Hey guys, I purchased a 2008 2 years ago and I’ve been wanting to upgrades the suspension/shocks etc but I don’t know where to begin or what do start with. Any help you can give me? And something that doesn’t break the bank.

    Appreciate it

Depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for strictly an “upgrade” then the Bilstein 5100’s are a popular go to. A set for the front and rear will set you back ~$400.

I did a full King Suspension with Icon leaf pack and Icon upper control arms and new factory lower control arms. I also added Icon wheels on my 2012 Tundra. It turned out awesome. Unfortunately it did cost me a lot so I can't help you there9EC5903E-B5EA-43E8-9FD1-A5EF666ECFC9.jpg E063F4B9-E5C6-4013-961B-165270266D03.jpg E063F4B9-E5C6-4013-961B-165270266D03.jpg DDDF6B61-6473-4CDC-BDE5-7EE35839F36F.jpg

I'm extremely happy with the Eibach combo from Toytec. Currently the coilovers are backordered in both the 2" & 3" options though.

For the rears, i just replaced the shock itself. & I also added one .25" shim on top of the driver side coilover to accommodate for the driver side lean most of these trucks have.

Curious .. my 2010 has the off-road package and I think the original shocks which are Bilstein 46xx I think? I need to replace, and I do not want to spend a bunch on lifting/etc. Can I move to the shocks that would come on say the Limited package and it would/could potentially improve the ride of the truck?

I don't have need for any heavy offroad use.

Try looking at Ironman4x4 3.5 inch lift. Forged UCAs, heavy duty leaf springs and really good coilovers. I've had the suspension for over a year and I love it.

Those are all dandy, THE BEST bang for my money i ever did was replacing the hard bump stops. NIGHT & DAY improvement!!!! 300$

I just replaced the OEM TRD suspension good enough for me :notsure:, Old Man Emu was awesome from my former 4runner.

I went with Dobinson MRA set all around and jba uca. Nice comfy ride, best part is its 3 way adjustment.

Lift? Offroad or road? Are you a princess when it comes to small bumps, or do you care more about responsive handling?
