Mounting up the SS3s in the bumper pod, but finding a gap all around the bracket and pod. Is this normal or do I have the wrong bracket?

Normal, mine have a slight gap. I've noticed the factory mounting layout leaves a bit to be desired. On the plus side the light performance is amazing.

A small gap all the way around is normal. It is to allow for adjustability up/down. One other thing you can do to tighten that gap a bit would be to loosen the side screws and push the light forward in the bracket a bit. However, it will limit your ability to aim the lights down. So there's a delicate dance there.

I will try this, it's likely that I previously adjusted them in the exact opposite direction.

I went off the diode instructions and aiming them down a little. A little gap at the bottom but man what a difference between the Pro Rigid that come in the Pro.

Spot on advice right there! Now I’m happier with the fitment. I appreciate the tip!

Glad that worked for you. I also recommend using zip ties to more securely hold it to the bumper, made mine more flush as well
