Crackie did great on the drive home from Bruce's. I know for a fact that in less than the distance I traveled today that it would have popped P0125. A code that I will never forget, ever. Much like P0420. Damn it. LOL

Anyways, now I've got this spare ECM laying around... :drevil:

I filed a claim and gave a report to my insurance. They said give the sheriff's 2 weeks and if it doesn't turn up they'll get me a check. I guess I'm gonna start shopping for a new bike. Bad thing is there's not really shit in my area I want. I gotta go to OKC or DFW.

Man that sucks. Hope it is found in as was condition or not found at all and you can get a nice check for it. Maybe a disc lock with an audible alarm next time? Or chain it to your truck frame? Lol.

    Shit dude, those bastards!

With any luck in these current times, your bike will book for more now than you bought it for. Try and find some comps for sale to show your insurance company.

I never liked it when cars are fully slammed to the ground, I'm talking about like 2-3 inches, from my understanding lowering gives you better handling and mpg and less likely to roll over but ride comfort goes way down and depending on how far down you go you can sacrifice daily drivability for going over speed bumps and such

A lower vehicle can have a lower center of gravity, which helps with general handling. The closer you are to the ground, the less room you have for suspension travel, which helps soak up bumps. So some lowered vehicles will ride stiffer. Being lower to the ground also helps improve aerodynamics. Things like drag can be improved for more speed, downforce can be improved for better handling. Most go lower, and wider. Wider also helps with center of gravity and handling. There’s some wicked looking lowered trucks and cars, and there’s some real disasters too. The whole stanced scene is tough to look at just like the bro-lean is a terrible lift to look at. I say go for it. 2-4 drop, wider wheels to fill the factory wide flares out.

You know how we have to answer those stupid captcha things? You know, where it shows you 9 little pictures that you can barely see and asks you to click on each picture where a bicycle is present?

I would like a captcha on my voice-mail so all those scam callers and robots can't leave a message and clog it up. It should say something like "what noise does a dog make" and you have to bark in order to leave a message. There should be a few random ones. I'm so tired of listening to dead silence, "your credit card company", "the tax agency", my vehicle warranty, and my online business account company on my voice-mail. Its to the point that I only check it once per week now and occasionally miss a real message.

These trucks don't have much travel in the rear end for compression. If you get short enough shocks it may be no biggie, otherwise you may want to consider a shock relocation to get the upper mount higher up so that you have a more comfortable ride.

Up front there shouldn't be any real challenges as long as your goal is not to lay frame. Check over your bushings and all joints, keep them in mind because changing the static height will change the operating angles and might cause already worn parts to bite the dust faster.

Looking forward to seeing this. When I bought my truck I originally wanted to lower it. I pictured a street version of a Nascar truck.
