Toyota Connected Services

Morning all. I did not subscribe but still have remote start. In service date is coming up on 2 years. Here's what's strange.....I could swear that when I was backing up I would get a beep when the camera showed me in the green and then a solid tone when in the red. Same for the front except no camera view. Now no beep or tone at all... it's gone. Am I misremembering or have I possibly gotten a setting wrong? Is the beep and tone only included with a subscription? Appreciate your input.

 

Make sure your Parking sensor button is not "OFF" it is below the A/C controls. I always get the beeping when going through a drive-thru from the right front and the wall. Pretty sure it does not have anything to do with the connected services.

 

This. I accidently hit mine all the time. Especially when I have things sitting in that area.

 

Thanks for your help. That took care of it. Should have looked at the owner's manual I suppose.
