If you changed exhaust out along with catalytic converters would that dissuade crooks from stealing it.
My mom is in home care hospice in Houston and I am going to have to drive back there to be with her and then settle her affairs. I was just there in December and I stayed in a nice hotel by the hospital and they had security cameras but had just been hit the week before.
My brother lives in Clear Lake and bought a 2021 Tacoma and it had less than 500 miles on it and his wife went to lunch at a restaurant on I-45 and while she was in there the converter was stolen rendering his brand new truck useless. Toyota said they didn’t have any parts ….

I digress I am close to some niiiice custom exhaust shops out here in NASCAR country in NC so are there any exhausts you could change to and still pass inspection yet not have to worry about catalytic converter theft?

Without throwing codes and then things won’t pass inspection. Best thing to do is get a protection plate either from one of the folks on here or at dealer

I have some cool tundra stuff on my site. But what we’re gonna do for your truck would be totally custom.

Stay strapped, you are allowed to in Texas. Houston is a shoot house, don’t die
