I just got my fox 2.5 coils installed a week ago. Now when I’m driving at slow speed 15 or under I hear a clicking noise. The shop that installed my parts said everything in the front end looked good.

the drone noise comes when I start my truck and same thing 15 under turning right it sounds like woo woo woo and then when I straighten out it goes away.

    Too many, but not enough....
check torques for all the bolts?

Maybe they loosed the CV axle during install.

Clicking when turning usually indicates a bad cv axel.

Not sure on the other sound.

My truck has a slight groan feeling when turning since my bigger tires, not sure if it's power steering or bearings or rubbing.

I still need to push my plastic out so it's probably rubbing cause it does a lot in reverse.

They probably popped the axle out during install and either didn’t notice it wasn’t fully seated or didn’t put it back in properly. Rookie move.

They did say come in after about 500 miles to make sure everything was still tight, and I’m right at 500

It’s definitely not rubbing on anything New and my rub was only on my BMC a little. I sent the video to the guy at the shop and that’s when he said to bring it in.

All of the noises are pointing towards an issue with cv axle. Checking the bolts on the suspension would not effect the axles

Thanks for the help! Is there a way I can jack the truck and move the wheel to see where the sound is coming from? Sucks these noises started as soon as it came out of the shop.

Figured out the drone noise. Ended up being my brake backing plate contacting the rotor, probably happened with the shop was replacing my coils. Slid one of my field guys $40 and good as new. The "clunk" noise I'm experiencing is the tie rod contacting the coil, which isn't anything I should be worried about but it would just be an annoyance. did some research and apparently this is a design flaw that Fox has yet to fix for the Tundras:mad:. There have been rumors that procomp makes a tie rod with a slight bend in it to avoid this issue, however my search has come up empty on these. Anyone have info as to if these are a thing or even made anymore?

    - Happy Monday.
