I almost never use mine. Where am I going to put all the crap that I normally have in there?

Yuck! Sorry to hear this. Is it on all Trim levels? Can it be shut off? I've now seen some conflicting info on this...

I am getting virtually the same truck bit in a Double Cab. Thanks for the review and after seeing this post, makes me more excited for mine!

Lucky you! We are planning on putting in an order for an Oliver Legacy Elite II this summer and a 2023 Tundra as soon as they are on-line and hope to take delivery of both in the Spring of 2023. Did I read it right that you have an Airstream and an Olly? I'd sure like to hear your thoughts on both if you don't mind. Feel free to PM me rather than highjack this thread...

Been a busy two weeks with the truck. I was stalked by another Tundra driver to Target. She parked her 2013 CrewMax near me just to come ask questions and then left. I guess that's one way of doing it. Been using the truck a lot lately for building materials. Two loads of cinder block, two loads of tile for a bathroom redo and some flooring redo. Today was a load of cobblestone. The truck doesn't miss a beat and zero hesitation with 600-1000lbs loaded in the bed. Get up and go is still there and passing cars with the full load. I think my theory on the wind noise and temps is right as the temps jumped to near 80 here and no noise at all. I havn't had a truck in years and I continue to enjoy the hell out of this one. No issues with the engine, features, etc.

Getting more done with the truck, another large load of cinder blocks without any bogging down. Drove out to the coast over the weekend for a school event for my son and had a nice 50-80mph drive out there and back. Each trip got about 19.6mpg which is a nice compared to the V8 and even more so as prices jumped. Noticed something else, the seals must be great on the truck as during the trip there was a light of I-95 we were stopped at and a brush fire next to the onramp pushing out a lot of smoke. Considering sitting in the smoke and driving through it, never smelled a bit of smoke.

Now for the bad news mixed with good news....my truck was hit...by my wife... We were planning on heading out tonight so I parked in the middle of the driveway. She decided she had to go somewhere first and somehow didn't see my truck with the garage door open, or in her back up camera, or with any of the sensors on her 21 Rav4 Hybrid. Backed right into it. Went out to find a dent in the bumper, white marks, panels popped out a bit. Thankfully I was able to push the dent out from the back, wipe down most marks as surface stuff, and snap moldings back into place. There is one on the wheel well that isn't perfect, two molding pieces broke around the headlight so its zip tied in from the back to keep it tight. Before and after pics attached....Her car thankfully not bad either but will need to touch up two areas where she chipped off her blizzard pearl paint. White touch up never matches. 275163625_291209993104518_3148364870234221038_n.jpg 275104383_501879558008914_5147059556296019026_n.jpg

Been here before with my wife and also with blizzard pearl! The day before it happened she was raving about how much she loved her 360 view camera when she backs up… Thanks for the laugh.

At just shy of 8 months I finally hit 5000 miles today. My opinion on it hasn't changed much, but a few issues and things I don't like. First still a smooth ride, mileage is getting better the more I use it and have hit up to 23.1 mpg on it. Few trips out to the dump loaded up and no hesitation or slowing no matter how much weight I put in it. Truck responds well. I am happy that the softex isn't burning me here in the FL summer sun. Down to the issues though. Going in for 3 software updates, the axle recall, and a tire rotation next weekend. While I am there they are going to have to look at and possibly replace my fuel sensor as my prior issue of it randomly resetting mid tank for no reason just started up again. Somewhere around the 3/4 of a tank mark it does that. Will also have them taking apart the passenger side mirror as it needs lubrication or something as you can hear something not moving smoothly when it folds and opens. I am also a bit pissed at the material on the side of the drivers side lower seat near the controls. I put a giant split through almost the whole thing while shifting my ass on a drive. I'm not the lightest person out there, but it shouldn't have cracked. Will get the dealer opinion on if they will replace it free or not. Wireless charging is still worthless as well.

Finally got to drive a 22 today. Was a 4x2 sr5. Felt nice and secure. Handled like a car. Engine was relatively quite and was surprisingly powerful. It has nice leather seats that were heated. Definitely a upgrade to the 21. I'll get a 22 pro at some point.

I just got mine 2 days ago and the enhanced engine noise sounds amazing. Based on some feedback here I was thinking I'd hate it. I wish I could turn it down a little though.
It's funny, people want to disable it and then spend all that cash on an exhaust kit. I'm going to save that money.

People do this on a lot of cars. The pumped in audio sometimes doesn't work well with an aftermarket exhausts, like VW's soundaktor.
