    Anytime! I enjoyed it :)

I also have a problem using too many zip ties for everything. Tidy tidy tidy :D

There was just a little extra wire on the driver's side and the passenger side was spot on for length.

The wire labels are perfect too, very nice touch

When we were building some harnesses we accidentally zigged when we should have zagged so we had to scrap a few and rebuild. At least we caught it! Appreciate the support!

Same here! They are bright for sure. The guys behind me while traveling west at dusk will certainly see my brake lights!

Great video, I felt this captured option B a bit better than the video in the OP and helped sway me towards that option. Not ready to pull that trigger quite yet but this'll be the upgrade I'll be going with. I don't like any of the aftermarket options out there.

Thanks for the pics and video @adr0ck6

I always said I wanted option B when it came out.
Now that it is available, I'm going back and forth on option A or B..

@memario1214 What is the purpose of the lead from the trailer plug for option B?
Does that help with giving the turn signal priority over the brake light?
Or does it give the upper light the parking light?

Option A is certainly more noticeable with the amber turn signal.
As someone else stated, option B just makes it look like a Ford or Chevy.
But I would have to buy amber Muth mirrors (replacing my red muths) for option A.
No way could I have different colored turn signals...
    It might be worth it...

Harnesses are paid for, kids gave me the money for Xmas.
I just need to figure out which one I want..

Although it is hard to buy anything for a truck that has been at the dealership since 11/16/2021.
Probably won't buy anything until I get it back..:(

I don't think you can go wrong. Once I get my tow mirrors on I'll have the red arrow in the mirrow with the amber turn from Option A. My hope is it will make people notice! But I also like consistency.....

@1lowlife - I have Option A. I LOVE them! They are truly plug and play and the amber turn signals are more noticeable in a sea of red lights in front of the vehicles behind you. Now my taillights are the proper intensity and size. The brake lights are appropriately bright. My vote is for Option A.

What’s funny is I would argue the opposite way, that the turn signal from B is more noticeable. With B you’re getting the entire taillight illuminated versus just the reverse portion, brighter turn signal because it’s two LEDs versus the one, and a distinct on-off-on even when braking versus the amber getting “washed out” while braking.

Not like it REALLY makes a difference, both options are more than adequate and superior to OEM, but that’s my logic to wanting B.

Highway safety groups have done studies, and an amber signal catches attention better. I think it's because amber isn't a normal/common color for the rear of a vehicle unless it's a cautionary light for a plow, or even some HPs will convert the rear lights to amber after pulling to the shoulder. If you are after max efficacy from a safety stand point then amber is the better choice. I'll have to see if I can find the study again, but they had stats and such that showed it was quite a bit more effective.

Not cheap but best ratio of cost for satisfaction. I couldn't stand the how tail was lighting up. Looked stupid. Option A for me. Couldn't be happier.

I have Option A with red Muth signal mirrors. If you look, alot of new cars have red turn signals along with a small amber signal on the edge of the mirror housing, so I wouldn't worry about them not matching.

Amber has a higher visibility, especially in weather.

I have mentioned this before but I especially like the amber turn because when you’re braking all the tail lights are solid bright red, plus the amber is blinking. It’s the most amount of light output possible to people behind you.

Giving turn signal priority over brake is 100% correct. We can give the upper parking light signal with inputs already coming in from existing connections from behind the taillight, but there's no other organic way for the turn signal to override brake without pulling signal from somewhere as they are separate entities entirely in OEM function.

    Understood.
    Thank you..

As soon as I get my truck back I'll order a pair..

    And to those bitching about the VLED bulb price;
Colton has spent a lot of time and money not only making these, but researching, developing, and testing to get a final product he is satisfied with.
He seems to take pride in his work as opposed to someone that will just throw something together and put it out for sale.

I've bought a lot of different after-market LED bulbs for my 2005 and now 2014 Tundra over the years.
Some of them are crap, some of them work great, some of them work great for 2 months and then their paper-thin contacts break (HLR).
    VLEDs have never disappointed.

So to me, Colton selling his harness only with VLED bulbs, shows his commitment to quality and reliability.
He knows it is going to work as opposed to some $3 LED bulb (of the buyer's choice) off Amazon that may just screw up the whole thing (and truck) up.

    Just my 2¢.
    Carry on..

    Appreciate the support!

Surprisingly enough we haven't been getting a TON of backlash on the price. It's one of those things where if you like the look of the OEM tails, but just not how they function we have a solution for that (and only use quality components while doing so)! The lion's share of the cost is coming from the base cost of the bulbs. We're essentially selling the bulbs and throwing in the harnesses for free :D. We have to use those bulbs too because they offer some features that simply do not currently exist elsewhere in the market.

I would love to make my own bulbs to offer FULLY in-house kits, but for niche applications the cost/return just isn't there at least on the short term horizon. Maybe someday I'll have the resources to make moves like that!

@1lowlife - I also upgraded my DRLs to the VLEDs. My 2015 and your 2014 are the same here. With Colton's help we got them working perfectly!
It required the small resistor on the rear turn signal and the large resistor on the front to get the VLED DRLs to light up and not hyper flash. Buddy, these are the shit! They are SO much better than stock! Now all of my turn signals snap on and off. Worth every penny!
I got everything through Colton for the same reasons you cited above.
