Well guys to each his own as they say but I do not like the new 2022 Tundras. Sooooo I found a 2021 Tundra CM Limited 4WD in MGM Nightshade edition with only 50 miles on the clock. Traded my 2021 Tundra CM SR5 TSS off road RWD with 10400 miles in on it. Im hanging onto the tried and true V8! I’ll post up some picks when I pick it up Friday.

I am guessing you got rid of it because you wanted a 4x4?

Totally with you on the 22!

$57k for the truck, they gave me $42k on my trade. Not wanting to hear anything about the price. It’s what I wanted and am good with paying to have a step up in luxury and gain 4WD and hang on to a piece of Toyota history

It does but it’s how Toyota lists the truck. It’s the gulf states TSS off road thing they offered

Congrats on the upgrade to 4x4!

Yea they can take that 2022 compact wagon with a bed and shove it.

They really made a huge mistake with this release imho.
Failure to bring the diesel to us after testing it in CA for a decade was basically a slap in the face and deal breaker for many of us.
Going down to an expensive, unreliable, v6 turbo was literally the opposite of Toyota SOP all these years that made them the great company they were.

I will never touch that new truck.

Hopefully sales will tank, and they will reverse course, but I doubt it.

If I ever have to replace my 2014 1794 I will be screwed because most domestics are trash on wheels, so I may have to build my own truck from scratch lol.

The rock and hard place many of us are stuck in.

Domestics have great diesel engine/trans, trash body and interior, trash EPA restrictive junk making for expensive unreliable vehicles, but there are no other options.....

The world (of vehicles especially) is going to hell slowly but surely.

Pretty soon you will see all of us on the side of the road turning the hand crank on the front of the dead electric vehicle to charge the batteries up, just like the first cars.
Total circle back to dumb times.

my buddy that drives his 2022 Dodge sure disagrees. He's been at the dealership 10 times in the past 3 months in an effort to get the air-suspension charged only to find it back in low-ride mode the next time he needs to drive it. DoDGe KwAlaTeE!

This is why I avoided getting air bag suspension on my Ram. Seems like there are always issues with them no matter what brand it is. I just hit 10k miles on my Ram and zero issues up to this point

Perhaps they take note on turbo failures and lack of sales when the product lines speed up and they offer a refreshed version of the 3UR-FE? Congrats on the truck. Looks like they added leather with that TSS option. I like how the Katskinz they used matches paint and interior scheme

I’m impressed with the interior. From the front doors to the back I like the new look. The entire front end of the truck is a complete turn off for me, it looks like a huge plastic 3D printed grill and some crack head light assemblies.

I don't find the 22 attractive. I don't like the front end or the partial finder flares. Maybe it will grow on me over time.

Saw a 22 in person at my local dealership for the first time yesterday. It does look better in person but still wouldn’t trade in my 2020 for one.

    I sold my 2015 Ram 2500 Cummins with a g56 for my '21 Tundra

the ram = Awesome truck. Still miss the idea of the truck.

But the constant worry about "what's next" will get to ya.

EVERY issue you could read about on "Cummins forum" happened to me..

The final straw was reports of a bolt in the grid heater (modern version of a glow plug) falling into the cylinder..

    Nope. I was out.

Glorious motor. Surrounded by a Chrysler product

    Loving my Tundra.

It appears you are smarter than me based on the fact your first tundra was '09.

I jumped on my last chance to get in on the outgoing platform.

    Glad I did.
