crazy good weather here today - hit up 3 hrs at the bike park with a couple of my boys - hoping it's not another super drought summer :/

Also - super jealous of the early camping @NWPirate - cousin and I are already talking about the coming camping season :bananadance:

Any suggestions for the area to get off on some trails and get back into the mountains for camping around here?

Guys, I have an extra set of the AJT black steering wheel trim pieces. My initial order had a minor blemish and AJT, being the awesome company they are, replaced them without me even asking.

That being said I’m willing to live with the blemish, and am will to pass the savings along to someone else, locally.

    Who wants the replacements?

$30 and they are yours. PM me and we’ll set something up. Im in Renton, Wa, would prefer to hand these off rather than ship.

Did this come with shims for your bed rail caps? I’ve seen instances where the Diamondback and canopies even, have warped the bed rail caps because they have voids near some of the mounting points

Is that what they are supposed to do? Mine did come with them and I installed those first. All it seemed to do was put a warp in the caps. No clue how the foam shims help anything.

I bet some epdm shims would work a lot better. If and when I ever pull my cap, that’s what I plan on using.

Here are a couple of threads I remember seeing this in, several more revealed in a search.

Funny, I never bothered to search here. Thanks for the links.

So I realized I had a brain fart on the install and put the shims directly onto the bed rail instead of the underside of the cap. But doing it DB’s way some of the shims will be over the various holes that are stamped into the rail. Hanging over a hole doesn’t provide any support.

And DB still doesn’t tell you how tight to mount the clamps. I actually broke the clamps on my last cover and they mailed me new ones for free. Guess I need to contact them about that.

I really like bronze on black trucks from all the pictures I have seen. Haven’t seen many in person though. I love my method wheels. Great quality and great finish. I almost bought the 703’s when I got mine but were a bit more expensive than what I went with and got a good deal on the 305’s from a local dealer friend. The 305’s look just like the 703’s but with a fake beadlock.

I do really like those Fifteen52 wheels though. Bronze with the black lip would look:bananadead:

LOL yea the methods are proven and have a higher per wheel load rating than the fifteen52's. I like the fact I dont see many fifteen52 wheels around.. hmm no idea what to get lol

I’m pretty picky so I went with something I knew I would like for a long time. I really wanted the SCS Ray 10’s but they are never in stock. I got what looked the the closest match to those. I may go for those someday if I switch to 37’s.

I’ve never heard of the Fifteen52’s till your post, but I like them.

With wildly high shipping prices, I’d prefer to hand these off locally in/near Seattle. These are back up for grabs.

You have the DC cab! Might want to check their Outlet. There’s a 6.5’ cover in there now. Not sure if it fits you MY. It is the side-opening version, which may also not work for you. But if it does, the flub on the bed spray looks minimal! Save 20%…

I might be interested. Let me ponder that.

Like my bronze 701s a lot.

One of the few I have seen so far that I would consider are these too:

The 701s are hub centric and people seem to like the hybrid bead lock if you air down.

I know nothing about the Fuels other than they look really good and have a nice +20 offset.

Does +20 put a little tire outside the wheel well, without fender flares?

The 701s I have are +25 and there is ~1” of tire outside my wheel wells with 35x12.5 tires. +20 would be 5mm (.2”) more “poke”.

    edit:
    Here is a photo of +25mm poke6D991116-3209-40AB-995A-EF6AA65015A0.jpg
