Took the truck out to test out the new Goodyear Ultraterrain AT tires in the snow. They did well. I have some spidertrax spacers on order as well. Didn’t realize they came in packages of two (whoops) so they won’t be going on until all four show up.

It came down clean thanks to a solid spotter. There are a couple spots at the top and middle where it is inevitable to take a slow controlled fall off the ledge.

We did touch a few bushes/twigs on the way to the way up the other side of the trail but nothing to speak of.

Nice! Is that the Gunmetal color? Looking at these wheels myself, do you have any more pictures you mind sharing? Thanks!

A couple pics from my YouTube channel (OFFRD). They're nice wheels. I like the removable rings around the bead. If they're ever curb rashed those can be replaced.

17 MGM Limited Just at 50k miles. Chrome deleted mirror caps and door handles. Added a few AJT pieces to cover some interior chrome. Bilstein mid setting level and rear shackles, added rear bedstep, added rear TRD swaybar, truck came w TRD dual exhaust and intake. 38 gal tank is nice but getting expensive to fill.

I tow a 16' dual axle aluminum trailer frequently hauling atv/side x side to our cabin. Tows great in my opinion, usually not aware I'm towing anything. I first did the bilstein 1.5 level and w gear in the bed and tongue weight from the trailer the truck didn't sit level. I then added ToyTec shackles to raise the back an inch or so which has me sitting close to level fully loaded. In my experience what made the greatest difference was adding the rear sway bar.

If you look close the pic in the snow is with ToyTec added. Pic w/o snow is just 1.5 level.

I also deleted the chrome on my platinum. I went with paint matched mirror caps, switched to 20220226_065509.jpg matte black door handles(personally i think it looks better than color matched) and the blacked out trd pro headlights

Did you go with color match? If so, where did you get your vinyl from?

Ha. Sore subject. The vinyl matched great IMO - here is the product -
    https://www.rvinyl.com/ORACAL-970RA-Charcoal-Metallic-937-Premium-Wrapping-Cast-Film.html
I’ll throw up a comparison pic in daylight tomorrow.

unfortunately after about 2-3 hours and a wasted sheet of vinyl - I decided I do not have the skill to tackle a shape as complex and with as many cutouts as the bumper cap. Paint is now on the to do list.

    Thanks man!
‘Sorry you didn’t get the vinyl to work out!
I know it can be frustrating to deal with sometimes.
Hopefully the paint will be easier.

You likely got the last of the vinyl… for a while anyway. Every vendor I know of is/has been out of stock. I’ve been looking for some since the new year. Supply chain issues…
