GEN 3 (2022+) Wheels and Tires Photo thread

+1, I actually just put one of my off season wheels in the bed for out of town trips or hunting/fishing adventures. I run same setup for both to KISS.

 

OK nothing about your wheels but just came to say that glossy blacked out rig is fn-A straight bad ass!

 

Anyone know which of the Nitto's is best for low road noise?

For us Canucks, and those down south that are curious, confirmed that tires on the OR’s up here are Michelin’s. Taken yesterday from an SR5 TRD OR:



From some reviews that are on here and reviews on other websites, leaning heavily towards the BFG KO2’s to replace these on my OR LIMITED.

 

Man I think it's SO DUMB that we're getting arguably the worst tire of all of them on the off road trim of all things. Puts this on the damn base Limited and give us the Falken's or the Yoko's being put on the other trims even. Absolute madness.

 

But it says "Trail" on the side of the tire so it's gotta be good for off road...right?

 

Send pics of yr new rig when you get them...your old rig was a source of inspiration. Bumper lights etc.

 

Nothing crazy, but a slightly bigger tire thats actually Winter rated! With trips through the Rockies and Selkirks in the Winter, i swapped out the Michelin Trails for these

Poke is aggressive for me about an inch out side fender. Looks great but this would be the furthest I’d personally want to go

 

To me personally that looks perfect I have a set of -12 offset and am thinking about selling them to get a 0 offset because -12 may be too much and don’t want to have to buy a set of tires and sell those too and have to re buy everything.

What tires are these?
Can you comment on how they drive, road noise, gas mileage, how they are different from the stock tires, etc.

 

Ridge grappler. I’m used to mud terrains, so I’m not really good at comparing from the stock tire. I can tell you they are more quiet then MT, about average on handling, not sure on the gas. My truck is running from 5am to 7pm with a lot of idle time between moves, company pays for gas.

 

I am also going with the 17 inch wheel with a positive offset and BFG KO2. The wheels are currently on back order I will post when I get them.

 

18x9 +18 with 275/70’s. Leveling kit I’ll hopefully put on this week.

 

This ugly wheel is a 18x7.5 with a +60. For those that have wanted to know.

 

Did you happen to think to get the weight of oem tire/rim combo?
