What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Did some touch up paint to the shifter and color match the AJT stuff.

 

Took mine in to have the power steering rack inspected for the Recall. It was one of the 25% unfortunately and needs replaced. The dealer said they would install my TRD front sway bar and TRD skid plate at no cost while they have it apart. While it is unfortunate that the front end needs dropped on a brand new truck, at least it didn’t fail while I was driving it or pulling my trailer with motorcycles, plus having the skid plate and sway bar installed is nice too. I hope they do a good job on everything. I hate leaving it there all week though.

Still need to do the vertical grey parts straddling the stereo and the steering wheel but from what I see in the above posts it's going to be daunting!!

Let me know how that StartX remote works. I’ve been looking at same one.

 

Time will tell but the operation of it is how I expected at least. We have the StartX kit on my wife’s 2019 Rav4 for a while now and no complaints. On the truck it stays running when you unlock which I was glad to see, one perk of having the 2017 before all the safetysense nonsense.

As long as you have it apart you may as well catch the grey above the glove box. Then the doors. The list will keep growing. Toyota loves adding multiple shades of grey.

Ridge wallet and yeah I do like it. I lost my wallet and this was the replacement. When I added my AJT stuff today I found my now misplaced wallet under the shifter cover. Guess it fell in there when I added my gun magnet. I’ll stick with the ridge wallet.

I installed VLEDs DRL kit for my 2015 SR5 CM. I got them through Colton @memario1214 at Hotshot Offroad. He helped me with a couple issues with them and we got them working. I truly enjoyed working with Colton! Really good guy and great customer service! Thank you!
They are brighter than stock. I think the Hottails snd DRL kits are a wonderful upgrade and are worth the money spent.

 

These are the Vled footwell lights. I ordered
1 front and 2 rear sets. I chose to put the rear floor lights on the front of the storage box instead of the bottom of the front seats as I figured them being Velcro'd to the seats wouldn't last with the kids feet always kicking everything. I'm very happy with the way they turned out.

 

Definitely advise tacking it together on the vehicle. Especially for the “wings” on either side from the main body that holds the winch as you need to tack them in a way that maintains an even gap from the body and is level with the rest of the bumper. Finish welding can then be done off the vehicle.
