The other question would be are they selling it for more than you got?

Trust me when I say it happens to new a lot as well. This is why a good inspection is needed before purchase.

Or, do like I did and buy a new one with a build date a couple weeks before you bought it. No time for all that new body panel noise.

As stated earlier in this thread, vehicles get damaged in transport from the factories to the destination all the time.

Sometimes I would see vehicles get damaged before we took ownership and went right to the body shop at a high priority.

I had some of my friends in HS that thought it was a good idea to break into the local train vehicle transfer lot and have some fun. They power braked 20+ Mustang GT cars until the tires blew, then decided to "borrow" 3 Ford ranger STX trucks and try them out at the local MX track. First they ran through a chain link fence, and then (from what I heard) got some pretty good air with them. I guess the limits was 5' on a set of doubles.

I didn't see those fools for a long time. One of them was 18 and tried as an adult. The other two the parents were responsible for damages. The three trucks were 50K and tires were 15K with some of the wheels that were damaged. Those two lost college funds. Sucks since they didn't do much with their lives. One is still a burnout and the other was dead by 19. I told them they were idiots and went over to my GF house and spent the night with her instead.

Or do like I did and buy a good used truck and save tons of money. Mine even came pre scratched, so no worries about door dings or off road damage :burnrubber:

As long you do your due diligence and know what to look for in a used vehicle, you'll almost always come out ahead.

If you can get maintenance records, you’re doing okay. Still don’t know how he drove it.

I can get more than I paid for my truck and that will likely be the case for years. Also, I know how every mile on it was driven. I take meticulous care of it and I know I will get at least a half million miles out of it. By then, I will probably be dead so what do I care?

Nexgen motors is a branded title dealer in Utah. Theres a few of those around here. Thats all nexgen sells which is probably why it doesnt mention it because thats all they do.
