Bilstein 5160 install question

So I installed my rear bilstein 5160’s today. Everything went smoothly and when I went to torque the top bolt I realized there was no flat area on the stud to get the torque on the bolt without the shock turning. Those that have installed this what did you do to get the top bolt tightened? I have a crows foot socket on my torque wrench to get the 21lbs needed, but when I go to torque it it starts to turn.

 

Hold the shock with your hand. If you can’t resist against 21ft lbs….well, probably shouldn’t be wrenching either. Haha.

 

Haha, okay, I tried initially but I was in a pretty awkward position, I'll give it a go again in the morning. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some hidden place to put a pair of vice grips. Thanks

 

Helps if you mount the reservoir and hold both as some leverage.

 

Once I got in a good position this morning and torqued it with ease I referred to myself out loud as a “giant pu$$y”…rides like a dream now though. Took a ton of the bed bounce away from the rear.
