New here. looking for input on wheels,tires,lifts and or levels...

just picked up 2016 tundra trd offroad crewmax . already have 275/70R18 cooper tires on the factory alloy rims. wanting to lift/level the truck roughly 2.5-3 inches and if possible have the stance .5"-1"out passed the factory fenders. any suggestions on lifts or levels as ive been think about the rough country 3' bolt on with the upper controls arms and rear shocks .. or if i jsut leveled it would i need upper control arms ?? open to all input . thanks

Depends on what your willing to spend... I just bought a new house so didn't have a lot to spend so.
I got the 3 1/2 Rough Country lift ($1000)so far i have no problems with it.

 

Welcome top left click forums entire sections on what you are looking for. Most will go coil over lift with bilstein,fox, and kings up front. 295 70 18 +25 offset. Good luck

I never liked spacers 1 and done for me . this is the kit i ordered

You could do that most do not like spacer lift or blocks as they are rough riding. I have bilstein 6112 set at 1.9 perch and shackles in rear for 1.75 lift.

 

why not?? they perhaps just ride harder or just personal preference ?? seems decently priced though . Thanks

 

Ok so coil overs would be a better option if lifting . but if one was to just level the truck guessing then they no choice but to use spacers ??

Official welcome for your first post.. Lots of options for what type lift, wheels and tires applications. Budget too.
Take a research under the Garage section of the forum to see other members pros and cons about their lift.. I'm a big fan of Toytec Coilovers complete lift and I used JBA's UCA to dial in my alignment... No issues at all and drives better than stock.
Again, pay once, cry once for a solid setup... Good luck.

Preference you can find some bilstein 5100 for same ball park and have options on what lift height. Uca are not necessarily needed i am only 1.9 and at full droop minor contact on the springs not enough to pull trigger on uca

Kanobi13 said spacers make your truck ride rough and wear parts out quicker, and UCA no you don't need them but them make a big difference..
